The property was amazing. The beds and rooms were clean and so were utensils and bathroom. The property has a lot of Victorian character features. We loved it and would recommend indeed highly.

Wow - what a place! A beautiful 14th century, timber laden house right in the centre of Maidstone. A few minutes from the station and near all the bars and restaurants. The interior is absolutely lovely, very quaint. Near some amazing countryside. Kerstin was kind enough to lend me some tickets for the castle, which was a nice touch. Parking is nearby at the train station but unfortunately you must buy a ticket each day. Maidstone is a busy place so free parking is hard to come by. All in all an excellent visit. Will definitely be back if in the area!

It is really good to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay. Perhaps I put some notes on the listing about the parking charges, so people can be forewarned. Would be great to see you again one day. :)

What a marvellous medieval house! We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this fully equipped and well restored house. The cottage is in a perfect spot- only some metres away from the center of Maidstone with its shops, mall, and some very good pubs. Maidstone was a good base for our trips to London, Canterbury and all of the surrounding areas. We had great contact with Kerstin ... thank you for your tips and support

We loved Kerstin's place. Maidstone was such a perfect little town, and staying in this house was the perfect setting for our adventure. Not everything went right in the beginning, but your response was super quick and above\beyond our expectations. Will definately stay with them again!!

We stayed a week and absolutely thought it was fantastic. What a lovely cottage. The interior is authentic and extremely well maintained. All brand new fixtures and carpet. Appliances are new and in great shape. The host was very friendly, showed us everything and made herself available if needed. The location is fantastic - easy access to shops and the train. I highly recommend this property and congrats to the host who was so easy to work with and provided a great place to stay.
