The entire property is built on a giant wood deck above the sand & occasionally the ocean water. We have a new addition to this deck which provides the ability to sit high over the railing and enjoy your coffee brew or perhaps a glass of wine at dusk...

Each Unit faces the ocean...... Trust me, You can't get any closer. ~~~~~approximately 900sq. ft. With an over all ---Old Beach contemporary look. The high open beams really give the unit a open, airy feeling. complete unobstructed views! You quickly are drawn straight out through your sliding glass doors which offers you the entire coastal view! With Point Dume view just up the coast. We are fortunate enough to have a dry sandy beach directly beneath the units with the occasional ocean water at high tides~~~
Your private deck has 2 new Captain's chairs and with propane grill which is perfect to grill for a small gathering. There is a larger BBQ available on our Central Deck.

Living room, has black enamel floors which run throughout unit. The Living room/ dinning are also has a Murphy Bed, which appears to be a built in wall cabinet. Opened it easily sleeps 2 additional people comfortably.

Private deck. except in the kitchen & bath. White Open Beam ceiling contribute to the Beach Bungalow feeling especially paired with the warehouse lamps hanging on either side. A Very generous weathered Teak table & chairs on one side, Makes a great entertainment are.

Kitchen, All New stainless Appliance's. Pops of color dress up the Black drop walls.All new stainless appliance's which are simply a must in this kitchen.
Natural cream color tile, for easy clean up. You'll find fresh ground Coffee in your beautiful new stainless fridge along with a gallon of purified water chilled.

Bathroom, is clean crisp white. wall to wall mirror. We managed to carry over a bit more contemporary feel here, with the wide black & White strips. Plenty of Linens & thick white towels available to enjoy a shower or a soak in a cast iron tub. A blown up photo of a clown fish I took while diving is one of the photos framed here. We supply a wonderful scented soap & facial wipes to help cleans your face & hands.

Bedroom,with One King bed. offers you a Very Unique & comfortable setting. The wood beam ceiling is painted White, with controlled mood lighting which shows off the Height in different areas of the room. A continuation of the Black Enamel painted flooring is complimented with the walls painted black which then offers a Rich super comfortable "W Hotel" King bed, with a unusual Antique cast Iron head board, covered with a fine down comforter & pillows. Bedding is all White- high count Egyptian. Wing back chair. Antique pieces are placed through out.
Oversize closet with built in dresser along with a Antique bookcase and a comfortable wingback wicker chair off one side to lounge or the perfect place to throw off your jeans & then find your swimsuit or shorts!
This room also has a 50" plasma smart TV, along with a antique oak cabinet.

Guest access

You'll have plenty of parking in our private Off street parking. We are Keyless, so you will be given code for private 24 hour access.
You'll walk through our Entry door & then on to the central deck, which then leads you on to your private walkway with a Awesome Ocean View !
You'll have several decks from which to choose.
The central garden deck, where you can mingle with others or sit & read while having your coffee & listen to the morning surf.
Perhaps an early morning run on our popular Malibu Road, or better yet....along the sand. You could always join me & get out and put in few miles cycling. Our Malibu Road which is notably a safe haven for road bike enthusiast..! Should you prefer Mtn bike riding, we can supply you with a book of local Mtn bike paths, however you'll have to bring a bike.
Perhaps you'd rather kayak...? Or paddle board..? No worries, we got em.
Beginning to sound like a resort...!

Interaction with guests

After getting you in and connected and familiar with the property, I can provide you with nearby restaurants and shopping information. you'll likely see me on the property during the day, out on our Central Deck watering or planting flowers. Recently the guest & I have enjoyed sitting around our small bon fire & enjoy wine in the evenings. Any questions, Text seems to be best.

Other things to note

For new Families, We do offer PAC & Play crib, which we gladly can arrange to have set up in your unit upon your arrival along with high chair & beach toys for young kids.


This property was developed in 1950s which means it has great bones, but has kept some of its nostalgic style. There are only two units on this entire property. Most properties have been bought and rebuilt as one extremely large custom villa or multi-units with less outdoor deck space per unit or common areas. This property is extremely unique with providing so much open deck space to enjoy!

Although the beach surf drowns out most noise, please be considerate of others, especially when out early in the mornings or late at night on Central Deck.


RESPONSIBILITY/LIABILITY-
Owner and/or Host are free of all liability.
You are completely responsible for yourself & everyone you invite on to the property & or into your unit. Which includes Everyone! Such as You, your friends, your friends friend, family members, and or your friends family members. You are responsible for Any & All damages, theft or liability that it caused for Any reason.
During your stay & until the unit has been throughly inspected. if needed-
A report will be filed with Air B&B.
*To date, we have had No problems with any guest! We look forward to this continuing.

PETS
Pets need to be approved, before booking is confirmed.
Pet beds are not provided, be sure to bring theirs along.
Host will provide you with something to cover & protect our couch.
Pets are not allowed to be up on bed or to sleep on our beds, Please have him sleep in theirs.
Never leave your dog unattended, especially for the evening. This will eventually will get my attention, which then you'll be charged a additional fee of $100,
Dogs are required to be leashed while walking on beach (this is what is posted, however It's your call.
The owner or host is not responsible or liable for your pet in any way, in the event your pet is harmed during your stay.
You are responsible for picking up & cleaning all your pet's waste along beach,central Deck, your private deck and along Malibu Road. We ask you to dispose of it daily into garbage bins on driveway.

GUEST HAVING SLEEPOVERS
We do try to limit how many people should be out on the Private Ocean Decks, (4 Adults)
Which is why there's a limit on guest to each unit.. In the event you have a stay over, please be 1st to Tex & let the host know.

RECYCLE ~~~PICK-UP TRASH
We do have recycle bins out in parking area.
Most everything that is packaged is recyclable, except food itself.
Plastic, paper, bottles go in blue bins.

Amazing spot!! Can not be closer to the Ocean while being well cared for. This spot is a gem, the beach is gorgeous, you have access to other great beaches within a short drive and the host is a real host - making your stay as best it can be!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! My wife, 8mo old daughter and I stayed for two weeks, and it was perfect for us. The location right on the beach and just a short commute to all there is to do in Malibu really cannot be beat. Waverly was a great host as she was always quick to respond to any questions we had and always offering to bring extra towels, sheets etc. We would definitely return!

The place is on the water and even with the door shut you can hear the waves! We saw dolphins 60 feet from the deck in the morning. The apartment amenities are sufficient but the location is everything! We could go on beach walks and leave our sandals in the house. Very private along the water and we loved in the evening you could turn on the ocean light and watch the waves crash under moonlight. We had a magical time and would love to come back again!
