Whether you are looking for a base camp for a series of day trips, or want to just get away and relax, Hope's Hideaway is the perfect "home away from home"! Our cottages offer comfortable living space, full kitchens, and full bath - at the head of the magnificent Kenai Peninsula and overlooking the natural beauty of Alaska.

Seasonally, we offer access to equipment rental needs, fat tire bikes and to paddle sport professionals that can help you enjoy kayaking, SUP, and pack rafting.

The space
We have two rental cottages that are duplex style. There is an interior door that can be unlocked if both cottages are rented. Otherwise, you will have your own 3 bedroom space with a private bath and fully equipped kitchen. There is a queen sized bedroom on the first floor and two loft style bedrooms upstairs. Each room has a door. Turnagain Kayak & Coffeehouse is also on the property. We serve a variety of breakfast and lunch items.

Mile 15.8 of the Hope Highway conveniently offers access to a fresh cup of espresso just next door. The Hideaway shares its property with Turnagain Kayak & Coffeehouse and is adjacent to Hope’s only general store and laundromat. We are near the church and a short walk to the Hope school for anyone needing a slide and a swing set.

Our neighborhood also offers, mountain views and access to the coastal trail with amazing views of Turnagain Arm. If your timing is right, you might catch the bore tide waves.
