Our home is often rented to traveling professionals on longer stays - so everything you need is in the home. Just bring your own food.

STAIRS: 1 step into the home, Kitchen and Bedroom have 3 steps, 15 steps to reach the upstairs.
PARKING: We can get semi's & 40' cargo containers up our driveway. Plenty of parking for any combination of vehicles you may have.
Please note: The jetted tub shown in the master bathroom is not available for use. Unfortunately, we have received feedback from guests that when they fill the tub, there is no hot water left for other uses. Besides all that, the outdoor hot tub provides a much better experience by offering high pressure jets, more legroom, and no waiting for it to fill up.
The property is located in the rural neighborhood commonly referred to as Plum Valley. It is conveniently located just off of Old Fort Road, an easy 15 minute drive to shopping or OIT/Sky Lakes Medical Center. Plum Valley is a highly desired area for its seclusion, larger property sizes and beautiful forest and mountain views
You will enjoy full access to the whole 2257 square foot home and 540+ acres of forestland. The garage, outbuildings, RV pad and workshop are NOT included in the rental. There is plenty of space to relax in the home or take a walk in almost any direction to play with kids and experience nature. A long hike from our home to the top of the mountain goes from about 4200' to about 6200'. You will be amazed at the views from the top of the mountain where you can see for 40+ miles in all directions.
There are beds for seven people and 3 couches for others. Please contact us to arrange for other accommodations such as sleeping bags.
In rare circumstances, we may use our shop or may need to do lawn maintenance during your stay. However we will let you know when we are coming so there are no surprises. Again, you have full access to home and 540+ acres of forestland. The garage, outbuildings, RV Pad and workshop are NOT included in the rental.
There is various equipment around the property and this equipment is not included in the rental. If you have larger vehicles, there is plenty of room to turn around or offload your equipment.

Within a 15 minute drive to downtown Klamath Falls, there are many great restaurants - Martini Bar, Creamery (Brew Pub), Irish Pub, Mexican, Chinese and more. The hospital and OIT College are within a 20 minute drive. We are close to Klamath Lake with more walking trails, Klamath Yacht Club, golf courses and of course Crater Lake!
Other things to note
We do our best to keep our home spotless and in order to do that - we do ask that you return the home clean and in the same condition you received it. We clean between all guests and deep clean the home often. This is why we don't allow pets or smoking of any kind - to keep our place looking and smelling new.
The property does require some maintenance such as mowing the lawn and making sure everything is OK on the property. We also do work in our shop (about 100' from the house) so we may be on the premises. We will coordinate with your schedule as best as possible to have a minimal impact on your stay.
Please do not leave the exterior doors open for an extended period of time as bugs and other critters can enter the home.
Fire is an obvious concern in this location. While fire When fire season is in effect, no outdoor fires, no wood stove use, and no ATVs may be used on the property. And obviously, no smoking is allowed anywhere on the property including in the house. You may hike all over the mountain any time of year.
Hunting or shooting is not allowed on this property. There will be an extra $100 cleaning charge if we find casings.
We have a TV with access to YouTube and other streaming services such as NetFlix and Prime Video (if you have a membership) and DVD player with a selection of movies but no cable services and no local channels. We now have Starlink High Speed Internet with a great connection!
If you have WIFI calling and texting, it will work on our system. Cellular reception is very limited in our area.
You will be given a remote control for the entry gate. Please remember to return it or you will be charged $100 if not returned.
