Up in the North-West of Ireland in the middle of the Gaeltacht in Gweedore, an Irish speaking area lies a small boutique group of hand built wooden pods, perfect for glamping along the Wild Atlantic Way.

This pod sleeps 2. The pod is a basic gypsy caravan design, with a shared bathroom cabin just a 5 second walk away.

The pod contains a bed, kettle, sink, mini fridge and tea/coffee

Please see our 3 other pods/yurt which are located on the same site, and sleep 2 extra people each.

James is a great host, very obliging and explains everything fully. We stayed in the yurt and it was comfortable and clean. Would I recommend? Absolutely !! Thank you James.

Really quirky spot, very well put together amongst a small group of trees on land next to the owner's home. A private collection of little caravan pods and a yurt that share a bathroom block. Basic but comfortable and a great way to get "close to nature" as the owner said that deer regularly feed around the pods at night! Location is spot on in one of my favourite parts of Ireland. Set off the main road yet a short walk to shops and pubs. A fairly long jaunt to get to the beaches but mere minutes in the car. These pods aren't the height of luxury but they don't try to be and aren't priced as such. An unusual and relaxing way to spend a night.

A great place to stay for those looking for a cosy hide-out and fresh air. Everything you need is close-by, and there are great decks to sit out and barbecue in the evenings. James was really helpful on tips for what to do in the area.

A stay at Jimmy's place really is a wonderful one-off experience. My night in the gypsy caravan - built by Jimmy himself - was warm and cosy despite the rain outside. In fact, the weather just made it more atmospheric. The space has all you need in terms of electricity, hot drinks provision, a small fridge and kettle. It is clean and calm. Stunning beach walks, wild deer and a delicious fish pie at the pub up the road were all added bonuses.

Jimmy's cabin offers a unique and affordable stay in a lovely part of Ireland. The cabin is beautifully decorated, and Jimmy is very helpful with ideas for things to do in the area. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay!

Nice and particular place. It's a cabin with folkloristic colors.
