Up in the North-West of Ireland in the middle of the Gaeltacht in Gweedore, an Irish speaking area lies a small boutique group of hand built wooden cabins, perfect for glamping along the Wild Atlantic Way.
This cabin sleeps 2 in a double bed. Theres a shared toilet and shower cabin just a 5 second walk away.
It contains the following:
A bed, duvet, bedding, towels, running water, kettle, sink, mini fridge, tea/coffee/sugar, cups bowls, spoons and a heater.
The space
The glamping cabins are set in a secluded part of the site, nestled in the trees for privacy. Guests are free to come and go as they please.
There are 4 in total - a pod, a gypsy caravan, a cabin and a yurt. These can be booked separately or all together (sleeping 8 in total), depending on availability.
There is ample parking for cars and bikes.
The gypsy caravan has a real double bed.
We are based on site, so late check in is available
Please be aware that this is a glamping site and therefore it is relatively basic. It’s perfect for people wanting a truly unique experience while getting close to nature and away from it all.
Guest access
Inside each pod is a kettle, sink and mini fridge. There are basic amenities included such as tea and instant coffee, bowls and cups.
There is a shared space where you can sit outside for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A separate toilet and shower unit is next door which is shared with the other glamping pods.
We can provide breakfasts to your cabin for a fee. More details upon booking.

Up in the North-West of Ireland in the middle of the Gaeltacht, an Irish speaking area lies a small group of pod, gypsy caravan, cabin and yurt for Glamping.
At the end of the street there is a large supermarket and pub. Within a 5 min drive there are more pubs, banks, a pharmacy, cafes, restaurants and takeaways.
Where one can enjoy fishing, walking, cycling, mountain climbing, kayaking, sea swimming, diving and guided walks. Take a ferry to the islands or even a fast rib to the caves off the islands.
Visit the local pub with music, join in our local Ceili dancing, visit our beaches, rivers and lakes.
Listen to the Cuckoo, Curlew and Corncrake, watch the many birds along the coastline, relax away from the mad world of the big cities, lie back with the friendly locals, watch them cut turf for their fines, fish in their small boats and join in if you dare
Visit the many festivals in our area including the famous Mary from Dungloe. See where Daniel O’Donnell, Margo, Clannad, Enya and many others were born and live.
