We had a great time staying at Ravi's cottage. The rooms were spacious and airy, and the upper room had a balcony which opens to a great view of the misty hills. One of the best things about this place is that although it has an antique look and feel with wooden work, it has been well-equipped and has exceeded expectations. The cottage also looks beautiful. It has a balanced, original look about it, gives a welcoming feel and importantly it has a solid build. The interior lighting has a calming effect and might take you back in time. The living room was really nice with the tall ceiling and the big comfortable sofas. The market is a few minutes walk, although it's a bit of an uphill climb. We enjoyed the walk a lot. The path that leads to the cottage has many nice trees and a great view of the valley below and some faraway hills. It's great for photography lovers. One thing of note is that most airbnb places that I have been to had lacked basic amenities. However, this one has taken the pain to provide hotel-type basic stuff like toothpaste and clean towels. The kitchen is very well equipped. It suggests the host pays attention to details and runs the place professionally and not as an afterthought. We appreciate that. The caretaker also went to great length to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Kasauli, and highly recommend this place.

A nice quite property with good food and chance to live in a small house all by self. Only thing the reach there is quite steep and not recommended for old persons...

Beautiful cottage ideal for a peaceful getaway. The caretaker Radhe Shyam ji blew us away with his hospitality. Looking to return sometime for sure.

This was our first Airbnb experience & I must admit, it surpassed our expectations by leaps & bounds. A little tricky to find but thank God for that - we wanted complete serenity. A two-bedroom cottage with sit out areas and a cozy drawing room felt like home. Nicely-done up, the cottage exuded warmth with the family photos adorning the walls. The caretaker cum cook, Radhey Shyam ji, took exemplary care of us, going out of his way when needed. The food he cooked & served was exactly what we eat at home. It's one of those places which will inspire you to read/ write/ draw. It's the perfect place to unwind from the city hustle bustle. I wish to be back someday with family/ friends.

We wanted to enjoy a quiet getaway in the comforts of 'homely' experience. I must say our expectations were more than met. Right from the stage of booking, I experienced a personal touch and concern which was unique. Mrs. Singh was not only helpful but she ensured that our passage to the destination was seamless. Even their care-taker (Radhe Shyam'ji) was indeed warm, helpful and very forthcoming in making our stay restful and pleasurable. Coming to the stay, well, one has to experience this first hand. The house is very tastefully done, very 'lived-in'. We would like to come back here time and again.

We had a wonderful time at Mrs. Singh's cottage and have only good things to say about our experience there. Though we'd initially booked the place for four guests, the host was very accommodating when we wanted to bring along a fifth guest. The cottage itself is very beautiful and is perfect if you want some time away from the city and the accompanying noise. It is also within close proximity of the Kasauli main market and in that sense, is not completely secluded. A special mention for the caretaker Radheyshyam who made our stay extremely comfortable. He is also an exceptional cook, and we pretty much took most of our meals at the cottage. If you are looking for some peace and quiet and a place to unwind, this place gets multiple thumbs-up from us!
