“Camphill Cottage” as it has been known in the district since 1860 - is not just a farm stay - it’s an echo of a time zone - one of confident simplicity, dramatic landscapes and birdsong chorus. Situated a five minute drive from the cafes, antique shops and old pubs of historic Rylstone, it is the ideal option for those seeking peace, privacy, space and authenticity.

This cottage has two queen size bedrooms, a large mezzanine loft with three single beds and study with sofa-bed (totalling 8).

I booked Camphill Cottage for a weekend getaway with our friends and their children for my partners birthday. I wanted a retreat that was private, close to Louee MX park where the boys and the kids could ride and a family homestead where I could russle up a home cooked roast for …

Thank you for writing this lovely review Rachel. I can't thank you enough for leaving the house in such a spotless state - added to that it was lovely to meet you, your friends and family. I really love it when I hear people are unwinding on that sun-drenched verandah with a book.....and of course our butcher's special marinate for the lamb roast. One day I'll get that recipe out of him lol. Please know that you and your guests are always welcome at Camphill Cottage anytime.

Janet's place was wonderful. A proper country retreat. It was relaxing and tranquil with the house set amongst a beautiful property with a view to die for. The house took you back in time with its old cottage charms, while still being incredibly comfortable (the beds especially)…

The cottage is a big, old, rambling place that was just perfect for a few days R&R leading up to New Years Eve. We spent most of our time lolling around on the big comfy sofas, sitting out in the veranda in the shade, or in the garden for sunset and moonrise. When we felt active …

Thanks for taking the time to write this lovely review Matt and for leaving the cottage in such immaculate condition. Glad to hear that Angus enjoyed the freedom to splash around in the dam and run through the paddocks. It was a pleasure to meet and host you all. You are always welcome back should you need that special "time out". Look forward to hosting you again.

Janet's beautiful 'Camphill' cottage easily accommodated four adults. The kitchen was well equipped (even with a Scanpan frypan!) and Janet had stocked the fridge with farm fresh eggs, milk and an array of delicious nibbles. This was a lovely touch and totally unexpected. Janet…

Thank you Josie for taking time to write this lovely review. I have to thank you and your colleagues for sharing your knowledge of the local bird life with me. I found it fascinating and you may turn me into a "birder" by this time next spring. The local Grey Shrike-Thrush keeps me tuned in, challenging me to respond with ever more complicated tunes to mimic. It's hilarious and I thank you for the opportunity to research her habitat needs and what I can plant to support it. I also want to thank you and your colleagues for leaving the cottage in such immaculate condition. Looking forward to seeing you again.
