My home is located in a beautiful new neighborhood of families and retirees, only 6 years old. It is close to public transport, the airport, the city center, and art and culture. Old Orchard Beach is only 3.5 miles away and Portland only 15 miles; the perfect setting for extended vacation, long-term work assignments, study, or visiting family.
The house is a split level or split ranch only 6 years old with recent upgrades. It features hardwood and tile floors in the living areas and carpets in the bedrooms. Upper level contains an open concept kitchen-dining-living room area, 3 bedrooms, and full bath. Lower level contains entertainment center, living room couch and chair, desk and chair, 3/4 bathroom and washer-dryer. The house is nicely conceived so bedrooms are away from common rooms to accommodate differing sleep habits.
Outside is nicely landscaped, wooded behind the house, wide drive-way, and back deck with grille.
Guests have access to all areas of the house.
Interaction with guests
Guests have the house to themselves. I will be staying elsewhere, and will be available for help if needed. I will visit periodically for property maintenance, guest information, etc.
Other things to note
The outstanding feature of the property is location, location, location and Lobster.
Old Orchard Beach, Maine's longest (10 miles) and most fun and famous beach is only 2.5 miles away by local in-town road.
Getting to other beaches in Scarborough, Kennebunk, Wells-Ogunquit and York is easy as he house is only 2 miles from the I-95 highway. So getting to Portsmouth, NH (45 miles), Boston (95 miles) and Portland (15 miles) makes some nice day-trips a snap. All three of these cities offer unique cultural, recreational, and leisure attractions. Don't want to drive? No problem. Amtrak is only 2 miles away in downtown Saco with numerous runs to Portsmouth and Boston every day.
On your way to the beach you'll pass Dune Grass Country Club(1.5 miles), only one of a dozen excellent golf courses within a 20 mile radius.
Had enough of the ocean? Want a fresh-water experience? Sebago lake and many other smaller lakes abound within an hour's drive; not to mention camping, hiking, boating, cycling and looking at Maine's abundant wild-life.
Portsmouth, the Kennebunks and Portland offer some of the finest restaurants in the northeast. If that's not enough, travel up to mid-coast Maine to the Camden, Rockland, Rockport area for even more fine dining, wineries, and mid-coast Maine experiences(about 2 hours by auto one-way).
Shopping? On the way up to the mid-coast you'll pass Freeport, home of LL Bean (open 24/7/365) and dozens of top-brand outlet retailers. A day trip to Freeport to the north, or Kittery outlets to the south (including the Kittery Trading Post) is only 40 miles each one-way. The Maine Mall is on the way north as well, only 12 miles north in South Portland; Cabellas in Scarborough, (10 min)
The house is located 1/2 mile from Rte 1, where there is a super-market, restaurants, antiques, movies, the Eastern Trail a cycling and walking trail, Fun-Town water-park, a rope-climbing park, and Enterprise car-rental if you need a car. Uber service is available as well.

I love jazz music, and play some piano. I have fun studying and playing and plan to go back to school to study music and art. I also have done some drawing and water color painting and want to continue with my studies.
I meditate most days. I believe the stronger my connection to the universe the more fulfilled will life be. I am practicing yoga more frequently as part of my evolving physical conditioning and intellectual/spiritual/physical connected existence. I continue my lifelong evolution as a spiritual being and my continuing holistic lifestyle.
I have recently left the Financial Services Industry and am embarking on the next phase of my life. As part of that I'd like to host for Air BnB. I live in the beautiful state of Maine in the US. I'd love to share this part of the world with people interested in Maine or with people who travel here for work, family, or other interests.
My house is only 6 years old. It is a charming split ranch with 1500 sq. ft. It has 2 bedrooms to sleep 4 people, and soon to be added sleep sofa so it will accommodate 6. I have a grand piano, comfortable furnishings, and my original art decorating the house.
The property is conveniently located for a variety of activities. It is only 2.5 miles from the 10 mile long beach at Old Orchard. Groceries and fast food are only 1 mile away. I-95 is only 2 miles. Portland, a wonderful city is 14 miles north, and the Kennebunks 14 miles south. Saco is centrally located for easy travel to cultural, educational, artistic and musical and recreational activities.
