Where you’ll be

Saint Louis, Missouri, United States

This is a new, modern home built in 2017 in Botanical Heights, a neighborhood on the New York Times' "36 Hours in St. Louis" itinerary. We're part of the Ligget & Myers Historic District, which has been an eclectic and established part of the city since the late 1800s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This is one of the safest areas of the city, with a unique vibrancy. Walk around the neighborhood and see the large restoration effort to preserve century-old structures and to build modern homes.

There is an abundance of things to do nearby: walk to shops, restaurants like Union Loafers and Indo, and the Missouri Botanical Garden; take a short drive to the Grove, Central West End and South Grand entertainment districts; visit the Italian neighborhood; enjoy concerts, museums and art galleries in Grand Center; walk around the beautiful campuses of St. Louis and Washington Universities; and visit historic Forest and Tower Grove parks.

IT professional from St. Louis who loves his family, neighborhood and city. I'm interested in local history and live near a 19th-century tobacco factory. I've been a cyclist, ultrarunner and rower. Now I swim and chase my grandchildren. I grew up in the northern plains, but I've never liked the cold. When I retire, I want to spend winters in Latin America. Visit me there! If you stay at the Sundrop Suite, you'll have a very private experience, so if you want to meet me, speak up!
