The flat is exactly how it´s showed at the photos and very well located at the heart of Providencia. Next to the building is a small market and pharmacy. Felipe was very attentive, always replying the messages very quickly. As a courtesy, he left a bottle of water and wine, which was a very nice surprise.

Filipe is a great communicator and this is probably the reason he has earned SuperHost status! We were able to get into the apartment an hour earlier than planned. We had been traveling for over 24 hours so we appreciated not having to pound the streets. We loved the location of the apartment relative to the metro and restaurants. After a day of city sight-seeing, we really enjoyed being able to eat dinner in "our neighborhood". The biggest downside for me was the traffic noise which is pretty much constant on the corner near the building and where the apartment faces. It was very hot the four days we stayed there and the windows needed to be open all night to keep cool. My husband can sleep through anything but I had a hard time. If you are a light sleeper, the noise alone should make you look elsewhere. The balcony porch is a great place to relax as the evening cools down if you can handle the sound of buses accelerating. Some problems with the apartment were: the microwave had broken buttons and no functions worked; shabby curtains with worn spots/tears in bedroom; a poorly equipped kitchen with very old non-stick cookware and few utensils ( only a problem if you like to toss together a few simple meals like we do), and only one small working fan. Overall, the apartment is a good value price-wise and for the location.

Had a great time in Santiago and Felipe was a really good host. The flat is in the perfect location with everything you need close at hand. The very helpful tourist office is just around the corner. All Good!

First of all, Felipe is a great host. He is always available and responded my questions almost immediately and left a bottle of wine and water by the first day. The pictures are real and show exactly what you should expect from the apartment. The location is good and central, with easy access to supermarket, drugstores and restaurants. The subway is nearby as well. Since is a central place, be aware that some noice may be heard, even during the night, but nothing to be worried about. One general issue that must be taken care by the host is the outfit (old pillows, sheets and towels, and also the curtains, wich had wholes on it). The microwave did not work and the air conditioner is not easy to operate (and I was not able to do it). On the last 2 days we were out of water (It may happen to anyone and anywhere), but it certainly bothered a lot. Despite of that, in general was a good experience and I would recommend.

Felipe's apartment is very cozy and is located in a good neighborhood. There's a mini market and a drugstores downstairs, there's another market where you can buy fruits and eat empanadas right in front of the building. The metro is only 5 minutes away if you go walking (Pedro de Valdivia station). Also there's some good restaurant very close to the apartment. Felipe was always very nice to us and responded all my messages promptly. You will be happy staying at Felipe's place.
