we really do not recommend this as several element did really not match our expectations: 1. this is not the tranquil environment that one expects in a marina - there is a night club not more than 100m away. 2. boat was small but ok, however no airco installed (owner suggested to bring mobile airco when we already decided to interrupt our stay), full of mosquito's inside and more outside that prevented (together with the night club) to open windows. overnight kids were kept awake by pumps in technical part of the boat. 3. wifi is poor, we had some issues with power supply that did not seem to support our macbook's charger (only power from solar panels and wind is used) 4. sanitary "container" installations the marina are really dirty and not responding to minimal expectations (the water was warm however). the automatic door lock was defect, anyone can enter these installations anytime. you don't expect sending your kids alone there. 5. location is ok, far enough from the the city center but you get there in less than 30' (walk and public transport). bikes would be a great asset as you can easily bike to barcelonetta in 10' quite difficult to conversate with the owner who only speaks Spanish.

Agressive host. The host didn't welcome us. They made a huge mistake by welcoming another French family of 5 on their boat. We had to wait 4 hours before they came to see us. We were then accused to be the wrong guests and they asked us to leave the boat at 11 pm with our children after a 13 hours drive to get there!!! We had to argue to explain this incredible situation. Luckily we speak Spanish. We thought the host would be nicer at the time of our departure but no way!!! You have to be aware that you are spied when you are on the boat. Our daughter leaves in Barcelona and she came to see us on the boat. The owner accused her to sleep free on the boat!!! There is no WIFI on the boat. The showers and toilets of the Marina are dirty.

We were pleasantly surprised about how spacious the boat actually is! And the wooden furnishing is beautiful and it really makes a special experience staying on a yacht. Having our morning coffee on the deck in the shade whilst feeling the heat surrounding us, we felt like we were not just on a holiday in Barcelona, but as sailors! There is everything you can expect on this boat as advertised, and even though the kitchen isn't in use, there is a big fridge, microwave and a kettle, so you can be quite self sufficient. And anyway, why would you be cooking at home in Barcelona? Ivan also has a great sound system plugged into the boat, so if you have an iPhone you can enjoy your own tunes. No.2s and showers had to be taken on the marina, but it was about a 30 second walk and it really adds to the traveller's experience. The showers are shabby but they have a decent supply of hot water and great water pressure. Unfortunately the internet didn't work for us at all and due to the heat and the water surrounding us, mosquito army attacks at night time were a given. Be prepared to use your mobile hot spot and bring decent repellent with you. Or somehow keep the windows closed. Honestly, these 2 slight inconveniences didn't deter us from enjoying every moment we had on the boat (well, except when we were fighting the mosquitos at night!), well recommended for the adventurous who wants a little bit of a different experience in Barcelona. If you can secure bikes, the ride to Barceloneta is absolutely TOP. Do it. Although Ivan and Maria do not speak English, through translation aids they stayed in touch and helped us out. Maria was very kind and told us everything we needed to know about the boat. All the tips and tricks. Wonderful. :)

A very nice and comfortable boat .. we really enjoyed the experiences of living on the boat. The boat has no kitchen but nice beds and two toilets. The harbour is located quite far from the city but you could easilly grab a cab since we were 3 People sharing. The service house with toilets and showers was dirty but alright. We really enjoyed to eat breakfast and take an after beach beer on deck and watch the sunset.

The host was really nice to accommodate my check-in & out time. She even offered me a ride to the airport. There were mosquitos in the boat every evening, so make sure to bring lotion. The wifi signal was weak and did not work all the time. The pictures are accurate. There is a tram station 5 minutes walk from the boat. The tram ride takes 20 minutes to get to villa olympica.
