Nestled in the Tarrant valley within the Cranborne Chase National Landscape in the quiet hamlet of Stubhampton, The Henhouse is a little touch of luxury where you can relax and unwind.
There is a hot tub to lie back in to enjoy the stars, a private finish sauna with outside cold shower (contrast therapy) and a feature en-suite with his & hers basins and underfloor heating.
Couple this with a fully fitted kitchen with Corian worktops, bifold doors out onto the patio…and a woodburner…see you soon

The space
The Henhouse is a single storey one bedroom property.
On entering there is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine…everything you should need to rustle up scrummy meals
The sitting room area has a sofa, 42 inch Smart TV and a woodburner (there will be logs/kindling/firelighters…if you need more then just ask). The Henhouse has a very high level on insulation so along with the electric wall heaters you shouldn’t actually need the woodburner…but there is nothing quite like a nice wood fire.
Bifold doors open out onto the enclosed garden with patio of limestone paving, a table & chairs and a small grassed area….all looking out over a field sometimes occupied by cows…and even Alpacas. There is a small kettle BBQ.
The hot tub has these rural views, and being in an International Dark Skies area, is great to sit in at night and look up at the stars…while the LEDs change the colour of the water and you sip a nice drink.
From the patio you enter into the ‘shower garden’ planted with palms, ferns and bamboo….from here entering the traditional Finnish sauna so you can enjoy a bit of ‘contrast therapy’ combining sessions of heat in the sauna with the cold of the outside shower which is supposed to release Endorphins and a Dopamine rush.
The bedroom has a Kingsize bed with French doors onto the patio and also a wall mounted smart TV.
The luxury en-suite has his & hers basins and mirrors, a toilet and partially mosaic tiled shower…even with a recess built-in for your shampoo/soap bottles. There is also a heated chrome towel rail and electric under tile heating.
There are many great walks direct from the property, good local places to eat and drink….and the Jurassic Coast, Bournemouth/Poole and the New Forest not too far away…..come and see for yourself…see you soon

The Henhouse, its enclosed garden with patio …and the concrete driveway/parking is for the sole use of guests.

Other things to note
Please note that the hot water is heated electrically via an immersion heater which means that there isn’t unlimited hot water and that after a good shower the system will need to recover for a while. The water is heated by an immersion because there are solar panels on the roof and when the conditions are favourable then the electricity generated can be used to heat the water….trying to be greener.
