Beautiful one bedroom apartment perfectly located near all the attractions in the medieval quarter of Dublin. Encompassing Temple Bar, City Hall, Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathederal, Patrick's Cathedral, Trinity College and Guinness storehouse a short stroll away. Located at the peaceful side of Temple Bar with Dublin's best at your doorstep!

The space

A beautiful one bedroom first floor apartment with lovely views to the prestigious Dame Street. This is an ideal base to relax & unwind either on a short stay, 3 month or 9 month rental. Our location is Ideal after a long days sightseeing. Sit back and relax over breakfast with our fresh coffee and watch Dublin float by from our large windows in the dining room.
This apartment is located right in the centre of Dublin City. I love living here and I am sure that you will too. In fact it is one of the best locations to stay when visiting Dublin! Everywhere you would want to visit is just a short stroll away. This includes: Christchurch Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Temple Bar, Trinity College, St Stephens Green, Grafton Street & plenty more. The Guinness Storehouse is only a 15 minute walk away. Our apartment is beside Dublin's best restaurants, bars, theaters, traditional Irish pubs, shops, shopping centers, galleries, buses, taxis, luas, train station etc.. The airport 747 bus passes the door and so convenient for arrivals and departures to the Airport.
Everything in our apartment is brand new and designed with guest comfort in mind. Our kitchen is fully equipped and has all the mod-cons including touch button Zanussi Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, pots, pans, utensils & bean to cup coffee machine.
Our double en-suite bedroom is dressed with hotel standard linens and it is very quiet as it is situated at the back of the apartment. In the bedroom there is a very comfortable bed with comfort mattress topper, slide-robes with plenty of storage & an en-suite with separate electric shower room.
There is also the possibility of accommodating a third adult in the living room on our brand new sofa bed (can sleep 2 Children). Our dining table in our living room seats up to 4 persons.
We provide all the essentials you need for a relaxing trip: coffee, tea, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, towels, linens, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, washing detergent, washing up liquid and clothes drying rack. In short Your home away from home!!

Please note: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THE BUILDING. THIS APARTMENT IS SITUATED ON THE 1ST FLOOR. STAIRS IS PART OF THE ORIGINAL HOUSE & IS STEEP NARROW. But if you appreciate prime City space in the best location in Dublin the steps are worth it!

Guest access

Guests have full use of my apartment. This consists of one double bijou bedroom, en-suite toilet & washroom, shower room with electric shower. There is a large open plan living space with large couch, dining table & chairs and fully fitted kitchen area with wonderful views of Dame Street & the Castle gates. Guests will have steps to this accommodation.

Interaction with guests

Either myself or my daughter Sadia will meet you on arrival at 2pm when we are working in the City. Please note I cannot greet on Sundays, all late arrivals I can arrange an automated check-in service with no extra charges.

I will also provide you with a detailed House Manual which can be found in your apartment with my best tips suggesting the best places to eat, drink & visit around Dublin City. I am here to help should you require. No matter how big or small your request is, my aim is to ensure you see Dublin like a true Dubliner!

HOUSE MANUAL - WIFI & APPLIANCES


DRINKING WATER
The cold tap provides safe drinking water for guests.
The hot tap provides warm water for washing/cleaning.
To increase or decrease temperature of hot water in kitchen or bathroom sinks select desired temperature from automatic heaters under each sink unit.

TO USE TV,
Step 1. Turn on Samsung remote (remotes located in welcome box),
Step 2. Turn on 2nd remote to activate satellite.
Step 3. On Samsung control select "source".
Step 4. On satellite control select "cable TV" by using arrows, then select the small return button right in the centre of the arrows.

TO USE COFFEE MACHINE
Step 1. Lift up flap to view filter.
Step 2. Fill filter with fresh coffee beans provided. (1 scoop = 1 cup)
Step 3. Fill water jug with desired amount of cold tap water & place it back.
Step 4. Ensure machine is plugged in and switch (on wall plug) shows red.
Step 5. Select on and that's it, you will hear the beans grind, then slowly the jug will fill with fresh bean to cup coffee.
Step 6. Clean filter straight away.

TO USE OVEN/HOB
Step 1. Turn on red wall switch on right hand side of hob.
Step 2. Using touch buttons press "on" switch with your finger.
Step 3. Select which hob plate you wish to use.
Step 4. With -or + increase or decrease heat as required.
Step 5. Re-select "on" switch to turn off.
Step 6. Always turn off from the red wall switch when finished for safety.

TO USE SHOWER
Step 1. Turn on red switch on the outer wall (left side) of shower room.
Step 2. Then just turn the shower dial clockwise for showering.

RADIATOR HEATING
The apartment is heated by electric heating in the winter. Each room has a radiator. Ensure wall switch is turned on. Select day or night and select on switch on each heater individually.

For fire and safety please ensure that all appliances are turned OFF when leaving the apartment.

CHECK OUT
Please turn off heaters and all electrics from the wall switches.
Turn off shower and taps.
Bins may be left for our cleaner once the bin is contained, for excess waste please text me the night before and I will drop by a pre paid key-waste refuse sack. This sack can only be put out after 6pm.
Please return keys back to key box and scramble code to lock.

Excellent location. Whilst there is a lot of noise and activity in the local area it did not inconvenience us because the bedroom is at the rear of the apartment. Dee is a very responsive and helpful hostess.

The location really is the best, can get to everywhere you need to and cabs, buses, bicycles right outside (literally) warm, cosy and comfortable and pretty much everything provided for you. Loved this place and will be back! We arrived at the flat at 1am and Dee was very responsive when we had a slight issue getting in. Top place and hosts, 10/10

A lovely fresh and modern apartment directly opposite the Castle Gates, A fantastic location for wandering and exploring. The airport bus 747 stopped yards away from the door. It is on the Main Street so plenty of evening hustle and bustle but this didn't cause any disruption to sleep as the bedroom is at the back. Thank you for the thoughtful welcome touches, They were very much appreciated after airport delays. We would just like to mention, we took Dee's advice and sought out some historic and very beautiful pubs and restaurants including the new superb Italian restaurant Forno directly under the apartment. Thank you as it totally enriched out stay.

We had a lovely stay in this air bnb, the apartment is very well kept and clean. The bed is very comfy and it is in a great location - walking distance from all attractions. Our host was very helpful ! Would definitely recommend!

Dee is a thoughtful and attentive host. Communications were very easy and responses swift. Especially while we were actually there. The location is perfect. Most of Dublin centre is in an easy walk with the Olympia next door (we were in town for a show). The nightlife is all around so do expect some street noise into the early morning at weekends (but the bedroom is not on the front and fresh ear plugs are supplied). The bed is not the best I have slept in but the sofa is deceptively comfy. This is a great place for a city centre visit. It is close to the 574 Air Link (not Aircoach though which comes with DublinPass). The property is small as expected. This is only noticeable though in the bedroom/en suite which is pretty tight. No window in the bedroom, which although odd actually makes for a quieter, darker room when asleep. Towels are small, heating is good, coffee maker excellent (also grinds the beans). The place is cosy but not quite as nice as the photo. I would stay again if I ever need to be at the heart of Dublin. (Note: In May 17 there are works in the restaurant below but this was actually relatively little disturbance because they don't work weekends. The entrance should feel a lot better when the works are complete).
