Demelza is the Rolls Royce of motorhomes a Neismann Bischoff Arto 69 A Class. She is simply beautiful, providing luxury comfort and can be used all year round. She has hot & cold water, a shower & flushing caravan loo, a fixed double bed and drop down double. The front chairs turn to sit at the table. A fridge (even makes ice), gas hob & a TV with DVD (only work on hook up) makes it feel like home from home. Freedom to go wherever you want & follow the sun! 1 well behaved dog welcome.
Demelza is beautifully designed and everything works to perfection. She has excellent storage facilities, with plenty of cupboard space for storing food, there is wardrobe for hanging clothing & lockers around the bed for easy access. Food cupboards & drawers are well positioned for cooking and
she even has a pull out larder cupboard. There are lockers under the seating area for heavier items so you can store a fair bit.
Interaction with guests
We suggest you spend the first night with us where she is parked up so you can ask questions about how things work or come and visit us prior to taking her if you can. We will give you a good introduction and there is an excellent users manual and information . If you are used to caravans it is fairly straight forward. Once you are off we can help as best we can by phone but can't guarantee to be available 24/7...you might need to be a bit flexible if things don't go completely to plan but on most campsites there are really friendly people and fellow travellers around who are only to happy to help.
Other things to note
We suggest you stay on fairly main roads when planning your trip as she is 6.9m long and a fraction wider than most cars. But you can put 2 bikes in the garage which gives you access to the tiny roads.
THE PRICE INCLUDES INSURANCE BUT IT NEEDS TO ARRANGED WITH ME IN ADVANCE SO PLEASE BOOK AND THEN WE CAN SPEAK IN PERSON ON THE PHONE OR VIA EMAIL. YOU CAN READ ALL THE TERMS & CONDITIONS - VISIT D(URL HIDDEN)
Please note a fully refundable 500 pound cash deposit is required when collecting the vehicle as the insurance excess & in lieu of damages.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund. Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
My life mottos are " Live like you are going to die tomorrow and plan like you are going to live forever!"...and "there is always another way!".
I am happily married to Rob with twin sons Jamie & Tom (born in 1986); we live in a beautiful converted barn in Cornwall, set in glorious rural countryside where I enjoy riding Rocky - my lovely horse & walking our two gorgeous dogs Layla (chocolate spaniel) and Alfie (JRxBorder).
I love my work as a Business Coach & Leadership Development Trainer - I am passionate about working with businesses to make them grow & succeed. I find the Equine Facilitated Learning I do fascinating. I really enjoy running our beautiful holiday let The Snuggery - we have met some really interesting people and many return year after year. We have also have a fabulous camper van on the Airbnb site "Demelza" a gorgeous Nischman Bischoff Motorhome - the Rolls Royce of the Hymer range, to enable people to share in the joys of travelling free exploring Devon & Cornwall; and further afield if people want it of course!
In my spare time I love skiing, riding, canoeing, sailing, growing vegetables & making preserves...visiting family & friends, reading & watching movies.
I LOVE travelling - I was born in Zimbabwe and have lived in South Africa, Sri Lanka & France...last year we travelled to Tasmania, Australia and France. This year I am going to Montana (my favourite US State) and Zimbabwe & Mozambique.
