My life mottos are " Live like you are going to die tomorrow and plan like you are going to live forever!"...and "there is always another way!". I am happily married to Rob with twin sons Jamie & Tom (born in 1986); we live in a beautiful converted barn in Cornwall, set in glorious rural countryside where I enjoy riding Rocky - my lovely horse & walking our two gorgeous dogs Layla (chocolate spaniel) and Alfie (JRxBorder). I love my work as a Business Coach & Leadership Development Trainer - I am passionate about working with businesses to make them grow & succeed. I find the Equine Facilitated Learning I do fascinating. I really enjoy running our beautiful holiday let The Snuggery - we have met some really interesting people and many return year after year. We have also have a fabulous camper van on the Airbnb site "Demelza" a gorgeous Nischman Bischoff Motorhome - the Rolls Royce of the Hymer range, to enable people to share in the joys of travelling free exploring Devon & Cornwall; and further afield if people want it of course! In my spare time I love skiing, riding, canoeing, sailing, growing vegetables & making preserves...visiting family & friends, reading & watching movies. I LOVE travelling - I was born in Zimbabwe and have lived in South Africa, Sri Lanka & France...last year we travelled to Tasmania, Australia and France. This year I am going to Montana (my favourite US State) and Zimbabwe & Mozambique. I long to do the overland tour Cairo to Capetown and the destinations on top of my list are.....The Galapogos Islands, Antartica, the Arctic, South East Asia, South America & Canada. Favourite book is High Endeavours (biography of extra-ordinary travellers Miles & Beryl Smeeton), favourite film is Out of Africa ...& a whole lot more! Can't choose favourite food - I just love it all!! Favourite chef is Otto Lenghi! I love adventure, maps, learning, culture.......life!!

During your stay
There is a manual with all the instructions and we are usually within texting range to ask questions. We will give you a good introduction before you take the van away and there is an excellent users manual . If you are used to caravans it is fairly straight forward.
