This studio is close to public transport, SFO airport, with free & easy street parking and a private entrance through the garage . It is just 2 blocks to the bus stop, with express buses that will get you downtown in 20 mins. Shops and restaurants are just 4+ blocks away. There are occupants upstairs, so you will hear occasional footsteps like any normal SF apt, but not any major noises as there is soundproofing. There is a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and free tea & coffee
This is a recently renovated space, featuring a spacious living area, a small kitchenette, and a comfortable queen sized bed featuring a very comfortable W hotel mattress. There is a sofa and a 45" HDTV with Netflix. There is also a table and a couple of chairs, that you can use for work or eat your meals on. A large window lets in natural sunlight.
The place will be very clean, with freshly laundered sheets and towels. We change the duvet cover for each new guest.
There is a TV with roku set, with free access to Netflix via our Wifi, and lots of local TV stations via regular TV.
The kitchenette features a microwave oven (there is no cooktop) and electric kettle. Free tea, coffee, hot chocolate are provided.
The place is generally quiet, as it has soundproofing, though you may hear some footsteps occasionally from the upstairs occupants, as is typical for a downstairs apartment.
Your studio apartment is self contained with all the hotel necessities you need.
It is accessed via the front gate of the main house, and through the garage. I would typically leave a key for you at the main front gate in a lock box. Upon entering the lobby area, you would then enter through a door into the garage. The studio is located within the garage, through another door.
Interaction with guests
I like to give my guests their privacy, but you can contact me anytime during your stay if you have any questions.
Other things to note
There is plenty of street parking during the day, but it does get harder to find a spot after 8pm, so we recommend that you use Uber for your evening outings. If you are arriving late at night, make sure to pre-arrange with the host to save you a parking spot, so that your initial arrival will go smoothly.
No smoking indoors
Please keep noise levels down, as there are people living upstairs.

I grew up in Malaysia - but am currently living in San Francisco. I love to travel - recent trips include Komodo, Himalayas and Borneo. My favorite cities are Lisbon, Istanbul, Hong Kong and San Francisco! I am both a host and a regular user of Airbnb, and consider myself very lucky to live in a city I love. I have been hosting for over a year, and have enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. I'd been happy to share with you my favorite local haunts!
Pink Martini, Gotan Project, Y tu Mama Tambien, ChungKing Express, learning foreign languages.
In my spare time I like to work in the garden, growing organic vegetables. I go running with my dog (a Formosan rescue from Taiwan) regularly, and I also love discovering new secrets of the city I live in (San Francisco) as well as eating the wide variety of food you can find here.
