You’ll love my place because of the views, and the location, My house is a 30 second drive to hop onto the Snoqualmie Valley Trail for a bike ride, a walk thru nature and just beauty. It is about a 15 minute drive to Redmond, five minutes to Carnation, about eight minutes to Duvall, 20 minutes to Monroe, 35 minutes to Seattle, an hour to Snoqualmie Pass and about an hour and a half to Steven's Pass..
My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The space

The deck and the views are the big features..of course..I like the bathroom that I just remodeled! This is a large studio apartment that is located on the lower level of my split level house. It is not a basement.

Although it is private and separate, if any type of noise bothers you, then this might not be the right fit. I try very hard to be respectful about noise but I do have to get in and out of my house!
Also... all sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers are washed ...before every new guest arrives!!!!!

Guest access

Although the studio is part of my house it has a separate entry, it's own private deck, and use of the BBQ! Unfortunately, due to the woods, no outside fires!

Interaction with guests

Happy to greet my guests when possible as I think its a cool part of Airbnb and because the unit is in my house, I just like to know who stays. Love to offer any help I can...The studio is self contained and feels very separate....that was my goal!

Other things to note

I tend to be at work most nights that I make the space available, but I do come and go. I do come home around 10 or 11 and you may hear the car and dog....full disclosure. I know most peeps that do the Airbnb scene know this, but I don't want anyone to feel mislead!

The kitchen is a kitchenette....Good for easy meals..But probably not gourmet meals as it is compact!

I can't say enough about how good my stay was. From the comfortable bed with the softest pillows and a nice leather couch to stretch out on in front of a cozy fire place. The room also has access to a beautiful deck with an amazing view of the surrounding forrest and mountains. As for the hostess, Kirsten misses nothing. She's kind and understanding and she has extensive knowledge about the local cuisine and outdoor activities. Anyone who stays with her will be in great hands.

Kirsten's place was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful drive out to the house and we even saw a deer in the front yard in the morning. Kirsten also did a great job communicating which made the stay that much better. We are definitely looking forward to coming back.

Kirsten's place is amazing. She left wood for us to make a fire and was always very easy to communicate with. The deck is a perfect place for a morning coffee and afternoon tea/books. Loved our stay.

Kirsten was a wonderful host and the place is so relaxing and beautiful. I almost don't want to talk about how stunning this place is because I don't want it to be booked when I want to come back. Lol. There is also a lovely fireplace and Kirsten is very accommodating. She had everything we needed for our stay including getting little things like a giant pot for crab boiling. The pictures don't do the place justice. You really feel secluded and away from it all. Great host and great place.

I don't even know where to begin! This was my first Airbnb experience and Kirsten set the bar so incredibly high, I'm almost worried no other host will ever compare. The place is everything I wished it would be and more! My boyfriend and I were looking for a place secluded enough we could unwind & enjoy some fresh air, but close enough to the city we could venture in and site see if desired. The views here... absolutely to die for! We even saw deer two of the three mornings we were here, right off the patio not even 20ft away. So incredible! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a plate of the yummiest sweet treat; I almost ate the whole plate in one sitting. I'm mean come on, who greats their guests with fresh baked goods?! The studio was beautiful, and the bed so comfy! We had a hard time wanting to get up in the mornings to go explore. The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need to make meals & was even stocked with basic necessities for breakfast like coffee, pastries, bagels etc. There's a kind of "take and leave" thing going on. Use what you want, leave behind what you don't use all of. Kirsten was a total delight. She was full of suggestions & recommendations...from fun site seeing ideas to outdoor adventures. She was a true joy to chat and visit with & a great host. I definitely would love to return here again!! Also, a must try for us: her restaurant Lazy K's. The white pie pizza was delicious! & her sweet treat left for guests, is also a signature at her restaurant. Its a fresh baked cookie in a hot skillet with ice cream on top! Can you say YUM?!

We were attending a wedding and asked Kirsten whether the rental had a full length mirror. She said she would bring one down. Upon our arrive there was a full length in our room. Thank you, Kirsten.

Just a city girl that somehow ended out in the country with a restaurant in a small town..I have been a restaurant owner for near 20 years...but my happy place is up in the mountains hiking with four legged best friend. If you are into hiking..I can definitely point you in the right direction of beauty! I am pretty chill at home since I get a ton of socializing at work!
I decided to rent out my studio apartment as there is very little lodging out in the Snoqualmie Valley and I loved my two experiences on airbnb in Colorado last summer!

My life motto is "never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life!"

I have been a superhost the majority of my time here but unfortunately due to a snow storm and power outage I had to cancel a reservation last minute for my guests safety and therefore lost my superhost status. I take a lot of pride in being a know you will be in good hands!
