Our stay was in mid September, 2017 and it was fantastic! It was a winetasting getaway weekend with three couples and we had a great time at this place. Every room has a tree top view of the northern Napa Valley town of Calistoga Down in the valley below. The patio is as good as it looks and we enjoyed the sunsets every night with, of course, a glass of wine! The kitchen was well appointed for cooking meals which we did each night and the near-new barbecue worked great for our steaks. Although each bedroom was great, the master bedroom upstairs is really spectacular. The location is very close to quaint downtown Calistoga. Leslie was an excellent host with prompt communication when I had a question. Don’t let the road that winds a bit up the foothills scare you off... it well worth it!

We had a last minute cancellation on our original stay that soured us a bit. As soon as we found this place, things started getting better. From what we read and the pictures we saw, we were very excited and somehow it still surpassed our expectations. The place is amazing and has beautiful views. Napa and Sonoma were wonderful to tour, but the best part of the trip was coming back to a beautiful house with an amazing view and good friends. We would sit on the back porch drink wine and eat dinner and just marvel at the scenic view.

Wow!! Breathtaking views! The cabin had everything we needed for an unforgettable vacation. Leslie kept it stocked with games, blankets, pillows, etc. we felt right at home. The road to the home is very, very steep and windy so be prepared. I will go back in a heartbeat!

This place is absolutely beautiful with the most stunning views! Initially we thought the drive up the mountain might be a bit long based on other reviews but it really was not. It was perfectly secluded and extremely spacious. It accommodated all 6 of us comfortably. Celina was wonderful and made check very easy. We can't wait to come back! Thank you!

A winding highway out of Calistoga takes you to nearly the top of the mountain. Driving tip ... slow down, stay to the right, get out of the way of 'locals'! Once you arrive you are rewarded with a spectacular view of the valley. A gracious host is just a text or phone call away if you need assistance. Perfect for a family get away.

The house is as beautiful and peaceful as seen in the photos. The views of the valley from the deck were spectacular. The house also has a telescope from which we saw Jupiter and it's two moons, as well as Saturn - very cool! The house, the beds were very comfortable. Some other reviewer commented about the drive up the mountain but for us, it was not a problem. We found the that the house was a short drive to Calistoga. During our stay, there were a few hiccups that Leslie was very responsive in attending to, which involved plumbing issues and a malfunctioning TV, which ordinarily would have been okay if not for the NBA finals that week. That being said, we would absolutely stay there again. It is a fabulous house.

The switchbacks on the way to the house are no joke but the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows and terraces are absolutely worth it. We enjoyed both decent proximity to the best of wine country and a quiet sanctuary among the birds and flowers. Leslie was also extremely responsive and available to answer questions. Hope to stay again someday!

Leslie Celina User ProfileLeslie Celina is a superhost.

Hi, I'm Leslie, I enjoy time with friends, family, and good conversation. I also like to explore all the hidden trails and swimming holes that Napa Valley has to offer. I prefer white over red wine and nothing is better than a chilled Riesling on hot summer day.
