Perfect hosting, location, room and amenities, topped with breakfast and a good price. Location - Location, location, location. The location of Piera's is the best possible for visiting Rome. Transportation, the historical and artistic sites of interest, restaurants, bars, coffee places, bakeries, the market, groceries, shopping streets - everything is so close - much of it within a walk of less than 2 minutes. Yet - the apartment is quiet - it off the main street, on the second floor, with good noise isolation. It can't get any better than this. And still, this apartment is so wonderful, first and foremost because of Piera. We formed a friendship with Piera that will keep, and we are not the first guests to do so. Our host - Piera lives there, so she is available whenever needed. But her unit is totally separated, so if it is privacy that one wants, there is no problem. Piera is a treasure chest of knowledge about all things Rome. She knows a lot about the sites, including about the art inside them. She knows about current changes (sites that are closed for renovations, museums that are open late for a special occasion, etc.). She even made reservations for us. Also, Piera knows the restaurant scene very well. Her recommendations were spot on for us - and we are foodies. Whenever we went to eat, she spoke to the owner (sometimes without us knowing), and we received VIP treatment "because of Piera" - very unlike the treatment reserved in traditional Italian establishments for tourists. Piera grew up in the historical center, and everybody around there knows her. Breakfast - We were served a complimentary breakfast. Piera dined with us. The food was tasty (not extraordinary), but it was enough to keep us happy for many hours later. The unit - in newly renovated, but cozy, keeping the charm of the older building. It has a large window opening to the street on the east. The room is large by European standards, with its own full bathroom (including a shower and a towel warmer), plenty of space for storage, a small table and chairs. It is well lit. We have been in cold days (it got to -2°C, 28°F), but the room was warm and pleasant. WiFi – works great. The price – felt right, and even low. With perfect hosting, location, room and amenities, topped with breakfast and a good price, this is easily one of the better experiences we have had in many years of traveling.

Piera’s place was very nice. The room was like a hotel room but with more charm and a personal touch. The location was perfect: a five minute walk to the pantheon and walking distance to many other sites in Rome. Piera was a great host who gave us directions to her house using public transit and met us at the tram stop. She also welcomed us with a bottle of champagne. She was great at giving tips on where to go but also allowed us to have our space and feel like the place was our own!

This is a great location and a great price for it! My daughter and I stayed for our last night in Italy before heading to the airport the next morning. It was perfect, we were able to walk to our favorite little wine bar (Coco Mimi) and up and down the old historic streets to soak up the last bit of Italy before we headed back to the States. The apartment is in a good location for getting to the airport early in the morning, not to far into the historic area that you could get hung up in traffic and not so far out of the historic area that you can't enjoy Rome. Piera's sweet Mom checked us into the room (she's there on site) she doesn't speak English and we don't speak Italian and yet we greeted each other, she gave us the keys and showed us around - we both understood each other, we felt welcome. This is a good value, we recommend it!

I would absolutely recommend this bnb. Very good location to all the historical sights. Very good host. Very helpful and communicative. Went above what I would normally expect. Room was spacious enough. I didn't find it loud at night if you have the windows closed.

Piera is definitely the best host we have had so far! She is such a lovely person. Apartment is good located, very clean and equipped with everything you need. We felt like home. Piera gave us a lot of useful advices about city, where to go out, what to visit, etc. Communication with her was also great. She speaks English and German very well. We definitely recommend her's apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay in Rome, was such a pleasure to stay in Piera's house. She helped us constantly and suggested lots of plans and places to go. The communication was amazing and the room was bigger than expected and really tidy and clean, and really close by feet to every monuments to visit in Rome (Campo dei Fiori 3', Pantheon 8', Colosseo 20', Fontana di Trevi 15'...).Piera's mom prepared a nice breakfast every morning so we could start our journey full of energy. We will definitely stay at her house if we come back to Rome

We had read the reviews but were still amazed by Piera's hospitality, and her mom's. Piera took us on a walk all over the Jewish Quarter. She arranged our visit to the Borghese Gallery and advised us on our trip to Naples. All this AND the benefits of breakfast, washed clothes, a private room and bathroom, and a GREAT central location. Stay here when you're in Rome!
