Tracy's place is excellent, the room is great with en-suited shower room, Tracy equipped the shower room with almost everything you may need. We have nice talk with the hosts in the afternoon we arrived with a cup of tea. A great experience! A lot thanks to Tracy and her families, and Tommy!

This is a luxurious room in a lovely family home in a quiet neighborhood. Tracy has thought of all the little details normally associated with top of the range hotels, but the added bonus here was the exceptionally warm welcome extended by Tracy and her family. I stayed here for a night on a long distance cycle trip, and my stay here was one of the memorable points of the journey. I was even invited to dine with the family, which was very much appreciated. (For cyclists: Tracy's home is very close to the NCR 7 route, which also gives a traffic-free route to Whitehaven harbour). Thanks again for everything!

Amazing facilities - all you could ever want and much more besides. A very friendly welcome into the family home; we chatted for ages and found all sorts of things in common.

I was taking part in The Crossing coast to coast MTB event and decided to have a night of comfort before 3 long days in the saddle and 2 nights in a tiny tent!Tracy & Richard's home looked like the perfect place to do that. After a long drive up to Scarborough and then a 4 hour bus transfer to Whitehaven, I found myself standing in the pouring rain with my heavy kit bags and no idea of taxi numbers etc. My phone was also about to die...I phoned Tracey to ask about a taxi and Richard kindly offered to pick me up. Their home was lovely and we had a chat in the lounge before I headed up to my room to sort stuff for a 5am wake up. The room was lovely...coffee,water,biscuits amongst other things were laid out on a table. The bathroom with shower was also well kitted out...everything was spotless. It was shortly after that I sunk into the memory foam mattress and drifted off into a lovely sleep! Up at 5am and down into the kitchen for 10 past to be met by a beautifully laid table with cereals,croissants,fruit...the list goes on!!! Tracey & Richard also were up to make sure I had everything I needed. Richard very kindly offered to take me into Whitehaven after breakfast as the taxi company was fully booked. So to Tracey & Richard...I'd like to say Thank You again. Your hospitality and kindness went above and beyond! I wish you well with your Airbnb...you deserve success!

Response from Tracy:
Thank you for the lovely review Paul, there was no way we were going to leave you stranded in the rain so late at night with the itinerary you had to prepare for! I was up at around the same time so dropping you off was a no brainer. Well done on the placing, what a grueling 3 days you had but fun all the same.
