You are close to the city center, The Kamakhya Temple, Brahmaputra Riverside, shopping centres, museums. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the people, the neighborhood, the outdoors space, personalised hosting, delicious home-cooked local cuisine. It is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.
The property is perched atop a little hill making it seem like an ocean of calm rising above the hustle and bustle of the city below. The building was built in 1960's so has an old world charm. As Shiela is extremely fond of gardening and highly protective of her flowers, you get to enjoy a beautiful green and colourful feast for the eyes. Mahesh (Shiela's husband), is an avid orchid collector and if you are lucky, you may catch some of these beautiful flowers in bloom. Naturally so much greenery attracts a variety of residents such as birds, bees, butterflies and the resident family of owls may also be spotted occasionally.
Guests get to use the living and the dining area. There is also a TV and reading lounge which you are welcome to relax in.

I am a proud home owner, with a great passion and desire to share the wonderful hospitality that this little-known part of the world has to offer. It is my passionate desire to bring to the world, the incredible nature, culture, food and people that i call home. Having travelled to many countries across the world, i believe has given me a better understanding and perspective of what a true travel and home stay experience should feel like. I live with my husband who is equally passionate about this little treasure trove we call the North East of India. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing these jewels with you.
