Guy always cared that we were fine at home and the communication was excellent. The house is exactly as described, so good in general.

The condo was perfect for our needs except it wasn't as clean and ready as we hoped it was. It was a great price for the location and the accommodations. Some of the great things were: -The proximity to Laval University, bus stops, shops, parks, downtown Quebec. (There is a Metro (food) and Familiprix (pharmacy/household items) and Dollarama (discount store) in the Pyramide shopping center in the next block) -The condo is very spacious -The availability of washer, dryer, dishwasher, dishes, fridge, -We accidentally dropped one of the old pots and the handles broke. Guy was kind and said not to worry. -Guy bought us some food prior to our arrival as we arrived very late in the evening -Guy accommodated our late night arrival and early morning departure. -Guy was quick to respond to all of our requests. -Generally quiet neighbors -lots of hot water Some of the not-so-great things were: -The washer and dryer had built up dirt and lint which we cleaned. -The vacuum cleaner was full of dirt which we cleaned as it wouldn't suck any dirt. -The towels and sheets weren't ready (some hanging, some in the drier, some in a pile in the bedroom) when we arrived - we had to figure out which of them were clean or needed to be cleaned - we ended up washing all of them. -The dryer had semi-dry sheets and towels which made it look like someone forgot to take them out of the dryer, fold, and put away. -Insufficient amount of amenities - not enough toilet paper which he quickly delivered (thanks, Guy!), not enough hand soap upon our arrival. We used our soap. It would have been enough for a few days stay, but we stayed for 9 nights. -No designated parking spot -The blanket on the air mattress was not covered with a duvet cover, so we had to find one and put it on ourselves. (the second double bed is an air mattress) -No instructions on how to leave the used towels and sheets. We left them on the floor so the cleaner would know which ones to wash. After leaving, we received a message that he wanted us to put them in the washer and start the wash cycle. We left the clean towels folded on top of the washer. -We cleaned up the condo before we left but were told that we left the apartment in a big mess. We still do not know what was the concern or what was expected. -Not enough curtains to block the light. The curtains were single sheer layer which let the bright lights in the morning. Guy said he ordered them but they would not arrive until after our departure. We improvised by hanging the bed sheets on the curtain pole to make our rooms darker in the morning. -Also, the Airbnb listing didn't quite list the correct address which Guy fixed, I think. Other comments: -Avenue Chapdelaine gets quite a bit of traffic...

The apartment was just as described, spacious and clean. Guy was very attentive host. The apartment is walking distance to Starbucks and some other stores, and this area is safe and quiet. Old city Quebec is less then 20 minutes away driving.

The two bed apartment is just beside the laval university. Grocery store and restaurant is 3 min walk distance. Also there is parking across the street which is good for people who drive their car to the city. Kitchen is fully equiped so you can prepare food. And the washroom is spectacular with one bath tub and a shower . Communication is easy and Guy is a very considerate host.

Perfect location for events at University Laval. Several restaurants, pharmacy and Starbucks in walking distance. Safe area, always young people around. Building seems secure, Guy was friendly and checked in often.
