Breakfast
This is one of a few places in the area that has this feature.
Indian inspired yurt with summerhouse set between the yachting town of Cowes and Newport. Buses every 10 minutes from stops that are 3 minutes away. Half a mile to the beautiful Parkhurst forest, a haven for walkers. The County Showground & Military Museum are close by as is the cycle track which runs parallel to the river. There is bike hire near the Red Jet. Stunning views and sunrises viewed from the garden. Ideal for couples and solo adventurers. Please read listing details before booking.

The space
Cosy yet spacious fully insulated yurt in its own little garden. In the yurt there is surround sound for mp3/smartphone/tablet, fairy lights above and good WiFi signal. There are tea, coffee making facilities, toaster, fridge, log burner type electric fire and an electric blanket on the comfortable double bed. There is also a sofa to relax on. You are welcome to use our microwave in the lobby of the main house. The pretty summerhouse opposite the yurt is a great place to sit and have breakfast or just to chill out or sit on the sun drenched yurt patio. We have various visitors to the garden such as butterflies, blackbirds, robins, wrens and if its a warm day you may spy a pair of buzzards circling above. A breakfast basket is served to your door each morning and homemade cake or a quality pack of biscuits will welcome you on arrival. The toilet, for guests exclusive use, is just a few strides through the top garden in the lobby of the house. You are also most welcome to use the shower room in the main house. Towels, shower gel & shampoo are provided. We have 2 more gardens which you can wander and sit in which have far reaching views and back onto a meadow (which usually have sheep or ponies grazing on) and woodland beyond. Please no smoking/vaping is allowed in the yurt or summerhouse, thank you.

Guest access
The yurt and annexe are solely for our guests. Our ducks are free range but are friendly and share the garden with you. The toilet (for your exclusive use) is situated through the garden in the lobby of the main house and has a basin with hot/cold running water. You are very welcome to use the shower room in the house (just knock on back door). Plenty of parking off road in our driveway.

Other things to note
Although there is electric in the yurt, 2 large, filled containers of water will be left for your arrival and you may not need to refill them depending on length of stay, if you require more, the tap is at the back of the house to refil the containers. The garden is lit by fairy lights and sensor lights but please use a torch at night if going up to the lobby as the ground is a little uneven.
