Very comfortable apartment which could not have been more central to this pretty little port town. Located right on the waterfront in an old, old warehouse, it has been sensitively repurposed and has plenty of character. (Many times would look out through the living room window to see tourists taking photos of building). This all added up to making it a pleasure to stay indoors when it rained, just hopping out for a coffee or bakery roll. Choosing whether to stay in the apartment, sit at the nearby cafes or enjoy the charms of Loferton.... a nice dilemma to have. Especially good because the weather was wet and windy during our 3 night stay, which meant we didn't end up doing as much tramping as we'd hoped. Renee however provided some great advise on what we could do to get the most out of our stay.

Best cabin I stayed so far with airbnb. The location and henningsvær is truly the main spot for all kinds of sports. You have all the people with the correct knowledge of the surroundings nearby. The host Renee made it really easy for us, the house is magical and really beautiful. Be sure to check out the epic jazz CD in the kitchen sound speaker (this cd ran non-stop). Tusen takk & soon again.

At first, staying at Renee's place was a back up plan because we actually need to cancel our previous booking at another place for some reason, but We knew we made the right move once we get to the front door actually. Renee's place is a landmark!!! People stop to take picture of the house with the "Expeditionen" sign which I think is used to be a Sjohus, so you are basically living in a historical site, how amazing is that? The place is big, I mean big, it sleeps 4 people easily and up to 6 people, the kitchen is big, the interior is very Scandinavian, honest, and warm, this is one of the best place I've stayed in Airbnb so far. I give Renee 6 stars if I can, and I truly recommend this place to anyone! Oh yeah, we experienced the best Aurora Borealis sighting around this area, can be seen from the window :)

Had a great stay. Gorgeous 250+ year old building with heaps of character. Renee's partner Christian gave us a tour of the building, and offered use of the laundry facilities and even sea kayaks (sadly weather didn't permit). It's centrally located on the docks, a short walk to parking, shop and restaurants. Highly recommend.
