You will be treated to a bright, spacious and comfortable double bedroom fitted to the highest standard (WIFI, flat screen satellite TV, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, biscuits and fridge). Exclusive use of large luxurious bathroom, digital shower & claw foot bath. Quiet and secluded garden within a beautiful rural landscape. Outdoor swimming pool. Generous continental style breakfast included (please notify of allergies/special needs).
The space
Homely, luxurious and charming. Very quiet location in the middle of nature, Perfect for a quiet night sleep but close to local amenities, ideal for walkings to the coast, Gobbins Cliffs and Whitehead with its famous (free) Blackhead Path which was part of the original railway project which built the Gobbins Cliffs Path). A great place on your way to the Giant's Causeway as it is off the beautiful Antrim Coast and Glens.
The property is a few minutes’ walk from local shops, bank machine, off-licence, the famous “Rinkha” icecream shop and a 12 minute walk to The Gobbins Visitor Centre and Ballycarry Railway Station . 5 minute drive from Whitehead Railway Station, 10 from Browns Bay beach, 30 from Belfast, Belfast City Airport and 40 minutes from Belfast International Airport. Please note we have 4 very friendly cats but we do not accept pets. We keep them away from guests for those who don't like them or have allergies. We take personal care to greet and share our home with our guests. From arrival you will be treated as our friend and we will do our best to provide you with any information you require.

Large parking area on private driveway, and gated area for bicycles or motorbikes. Peaceful garden, outdoor sun-heated swimming pool (available from May till September). Water temperature between 18 and 24C.

We have three very friendly cats but our cats are restricted to our private quarters so you do not need to see them if you don't want to!
The maximum we can take in booking is 2 guests.

Neighbourhood highlights
Very quiet location, very friendly neighbours. In the spring, summer and autumn you can constantly hear and see birds in the area from the nearby forest.
Please note that the Gobbins Tourist attraction has been closed to the public since early June due to a rock fall. Should it be closed when you are here, you can also visit Blackhead Path in Whitehead, which is also very beautiful as it is a path at sea level, with steps up to the Lighthouse. This attraction is from the same (Victorian) period as the Gobbins and it is free.

I like to spend time with my guests
Friendly and of outgoing personality, we enjoy meeting new people and being able to share with others our time, conversation and being of assistance. With visitors, we always do my best to make them feel at home and facilitate anything they may need to make their stay unforgettable. For us the key thing when being away from home is to feel like you are at home, somewhere warm and comfortable to use as a base to be able to explore the surrounding area. Our motto in life: It is better to have tried something and failed than to regret never to have been able to do it. We have 3 really friendly cats (Lynxie, Nacho and Archee) who love meeting new guests and getting close up for some petting, playing, brushing or a nap! But if our guest does not like or is allergic to cats, we will keep them away so this should not be a problem.
We love travelling to the North and North of Spain and in particular Rias Baixas of Galicia, swimming and motorbike riding.
