Summer is a great time to visit the Cape. My place has a cozy Cape feeling, high ceilings, open floor plan, and is convenient to all Falmouth and the Cape have to offer. It is 3-4 miles from beaches in three directions, 3 miles to Main Street shopping and restaurants, 5 minutes to a beautiful town park and freshwater pond, and 12 minutes to Mashpee Commons shopping. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, or families. One bedroom has two double beds and can accomodate children.

The space

Some additional information---My two-bedroom home is on a wooded lot at the end of a cul-de-sac with a few houses nearby. There are solar lights and a porch light, but it is not well lit up outdoors at night. The house was renovated from its original layout and is a fun place to hang out with friends and family. There is a small outdoor deck with a small gas grill, and a great outdoor shower. I have some nice flower beds and the landscaping is very natural and wild. It is the Cape and there is poison ivy on the property. You will want to know what it looks like and be careful.

Guest access

I have a combination lock on the door handle and I will provide you with the code. There are timed lights that will be on in the house in case you come at night.

Interaction with guests

Let me know how much you know about the area and if you would like tips for where to eat or hang out. I will not be there, but I will be available throughout your stay.

We loved where the house was located. About 10 - 15 min drive near stores and restaurants. House is in a cul-de-sac straight so it's very quiet and a lot of privacy. Rooms were spacious and house is up to date and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Eileen's house was perfect for the four of us! We were there for the Falmouth Road Race and the location was great for getting to the race pick-up point. (Plus, the hammock was excellent for a post-race nap!) The back deck was our favorite spot and although the house is close to town, all of the trees made it feel as though there are no neighbors. We enjoyed our time very much.

We enjoyed Eileen's charming house with pleasant decor, its convenient layout, and the outdoor shower off of the deck. It was a peaceful place to return to after our daily outings. A great place to stay for a group of 3 or 4 people.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eileen's place. The house is clean and well maintained. It's a short drive to the town center.

Lovely house in rural surroundings. Comfortable and casual. Our kids were delighted by rabbits in the yard as we pulled up, and even more excited to see a family of turkeys a couple days later. Nice deck and hammock. Convenient location, and nice private locale. Plenty of restaurants and beaches a short drive away. Eileen was a responsive and helpful host. We had a great stay.

Eileen was very easy to work with and responded quickly to all question. Home is comfortable and cozy. Beds were all very comfortable, loved the back deck, had my coffee and there all weekend so relaxing and peaceful just what I needed after a hectic week. Home was just a short drive to shops, beaches & restaurants.

Hi, I have lived on the Cape on and off for the last 20 years and love it there. I especially love kayaking in the estuaries and walking my dog on the beach off season. I have worked on local environmental issues like water quality in Buzzards Bay and the clean up of the military base contamination. I have traveled extensively and hope to try to be a guest on Air BnB soon. This is my first time hosting guests.
