Summer is a great time to visit the Cape. My place has a cozy Cape feeling, high ceilings, open floor plan, and is convenient to all Falmouth and the Cape have to offer. It is 3-4 miles from beaches in three directions, 3 miles to Main Street shopping and restaurants, 5 minutes to a beautiful town park and freshwater pond, and 12 minutes to Mashpee Commons shopping. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, or families. One bedroom has two double beds and can accomodate children.
Some additional information---My two-bedroom home is on a wooded lot at the end of a cul-de-sac with a few houses nearby. There are solar lights and a porch light, but it is not well lit up outdoors at night. The house was renovated from its original layout and is a fun place to hang out with friends and family. There is a small outdoor deck with a small gas grill, and a great outdoor shower. I have some nice flower beds and the landscaping is very natural and wild. It is the Cape and there is poison ivy on the property. You will want to know what it looks like and be careful.
I have a combination lock on the door handle and I will provide you with the code. There are timed lights that will be on in the house in case you come at night.
Interaction with guests
Let me know how much you know about the area and if you would like tips for where to eat or hang out. I will not be there, but I will be available throughout your stay.
*Please do not leave anything in the refrigerator. There may be a few condiments like ketchup and mustard there that you are welcome to use, but please do not leave anything else.
*Please put dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
*If you are inclined, you can put your garbage and recycling in the shed in the garbage pale.
*Be aware of poison ivy on the perimeter of the property. Poison ivy is everywhere on the Cape and beaches, so be aware in general.
Hi, I have lived on the Cape on and off for the last 20 years and love it there. I especially love kayaking in the estuaries and walking my dog on the beach off season. I have worked on local environmental issues like water quality in Buzzards Bay and the clean up of the military base contamination. I have traveled extensively and hope to try to be a guest on Air BnB soon. This is my first time hosting guests.
