Jean, Robert, and John were really great people. My girlfriend and I stayed one night and it was amazing. The boat was just far enough out where we could walk around nude and go skinny dipping!!! Super great experience. Water is soooo clear and the boat was perfect. We had John take us out for a 3hour sail boat cruise and the wind was in our favor- we had a blast thanks to John- he was very professional and accommodating/ all around great guy to sail with. Robert met us in town where he showed us where to park for 2Euros for 24 hours and then he walked us to the docks- this is where we got into a small "dinghy" boat and rowed for about two minutes to the main vessel (Sail Boat). Robert was fantastic showing us all the features of the boat for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I rowed Robert back to shore and returned to a very peaceful stay on the boat. When we return there are only a few things we will have this time: I forgot our own pillows, as the ones provided were too flat (but super thankful Jean had them for us). We also forgot our own towels- shouldn't be hard to forget towels if you are going on a boat but I was surprising my girlfriend and she didn't know we needed them. Robert showed us where the towels were so we were in luck. There is one spot on shore that sells bread, pastries, sandwiches, and drinks for breakfast (they open at 4am!!) They make their own breads and there was still a lot to choose from by 945am when we arrived for breakfast. The night prior, we sat down for a coffee at a local eatery just walking distance from the docks but there is also a great little place to eat and drink right next to the docks (which has a restroom inside it- the one in the boat was only if we "had to go" .... Overall we had a really great time and would highly recommend this touch of paradise to anyone who doesn't want to do the normal hotel stay. The waters were so calm in the morning we had to jump back in for a quick refreshing swim!! Thank you Jean, Robert and John for making this a wonderful experience.

Jean and Robert were great hosts, always available no matter what information we needed and both very friendly. As we were 5 people on the boat it was a bit packed but we have been aware of that fact before and you get along quite well! We gonna remember this awesome stay for a long time, can only recommend this wonderful place!

Jean is a really incredible guy who is exceedingly helpful with any question or concern you may have and is ultimately really invested in you having the best stay on his really cool ship. In terms of the ship, it's precisely as described (in terms of its features and location.) Its on an absolutely beautiful lake in Bavaria, right outside Munich, about 20 mins walking from the train. Totally unique, unparalleled and experience that I would highly recommend but also emphasize that this is not exactly like staying in a hotel or an entirely leisurely lodging (but then again I don't know why someone looking for that would stay on the ship. By this I mean, this is a great lodging if you authentically want to get out of the city and get a taste of more rugged but equally serene, Germany. So with that 10/10. I greatly enjoyed the experience and am very grateful to Jean for facilitating me getting out in the water during my time in Germany. Very very special experience!

Fantastic Place ! A lovely atmospherical yacht which is 50 years old and in a good shape for that. we slept like babies. the water is wonderful, better than a bath or shower to swim in the morning by a massive mountain view. the walk to the train station is not too far and a nice one. easily connected to munich and a perfect solution to get some peace before heading forward to sightseeing, even the nature around is mind-blowing the host was very pleasant and helpful. also the beer garden is fantastic, a really traditional one directly located on the water..get a beer and relax on the ship, unforgettable * i totally recommend that place and will definitely come back there !!!***thanks for the nice stay !

Eine wundervolle, romantische Erfahrung auf dem Boot im Starnbergersee zu schlafen. Die Kommunikation mit Jean sowie der Check-In haben reibungslos funktioniert. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt!!
