A neat 2 bedroom self catering cabin with double bed, single bed, kitchen, lounge, shower room, garden and lovely view across grazing sheep to the sea and hills beyond. Located set back from the main road in Breakish. Broadford is just 2 miles away with its supermarket, restaurants and a few shops.
Our place is in a peaceful position with great views and yet handy for the main road to pop into Broadford, explore the island or head for the bridge. Cosy and comfortable for 3 guests (a couple and a single) we are sure you will have an enjoyable stay. You are welcome to speak to or mingle with our sheep who, at certain times of year, can be very friendly (and a bit noisy!). If you are lucky there may be a pet lamb to feed.

Interaction with guests
We live next door to An Airidh if you need help or assistance. You are welcome to call on us. Otherwise we will leave you to enjoy your stay in peace.
Other things to note
We are easy to find but please DO NOT follow the sat nav. The post codes on Skye are very large and if you follow the sat nav, it will take you to the wrong house. Also, DO NOT follow signs for Lower Breakish, our address is 36 Lower Breakish but access to the driveway is from the main road (the Skye Bridge road). Welcome to Skye, addresses are all over the place! Look for the horse on the main road, 5 miles after the Skye Bridge. This is us!

I am English, my husband Nick is Scottish and we have lived in the south end of the Isle of Skye for 20 years, our 3 children were all born here. The eldest Charlotte now studies Marine Sciences at university, our son Archie likes computers and books (he is a Terry Pratchett and sci fi fan), he prefers to be indoors rather than outside. Lucy, the youngest, speaks Gaelic and you will often see her out with our flock of 18 or so sheep, especially around lambing time when there is lots to do. Our sheep have names and she knows them apart quite easily.
I like gardening and growing vegetables which can be a challenge in the unpredictable Skye weather, Nick likes cars and anything with an engine. We both enjoy days out in our campervan watching the dramatic Scottish scenery with a hot cup of coffee.
Nick skippers one of the fast boats for the Bella Jane boat trips from Elgol, visiting the small islands of Canna, Soay, Rum and Eigg, spotting wildlife and taking about the area's local history, a great thing to do if you have time.
