My place is close to Skiing, Cooperstown and Howes Caverns. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and charm. There is a wood burning stove in the cabin for the winter months and a firepit in the back patio for the summer months to enjoy. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups.
There is 30 acres of fields and woods to enjoy.
Close to hiking, biking, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling!

My wife and I just spent the weekend at the Crows Nest with our two dogs and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The property gives you the feeling of complete seclusion and privacy. The cabin itself is stocked with everything you would need, just bring your own food and you're good to go. Will definitely be booking this cabin again.

We loved our stay in this beautiful, comfortable, very well appointed home in the woods. The stars at night were gorgeous and we had everything we needed to cook meals, including a great grill. But you are truly in the woods here, so if you are headed to Cooperstown or the Glimmerglass Festival (as we were) be prepared for a one+ hour drive each way. Thanks Marlene!

Response from Marlene:
I'm sorry that you had such a difficult time driving to Cooperstown and Glimmerglass. The drive is 35 minutes from the cabin. In the future, I will print out the proper directions for my guests.

Marlene was very communicative and her place was so lovely! We had a small multi-generational family meet up of sorts, and the place was perfect for guests of all ages, 0-90 years old! We really felt taken care of and the experience couldn't have been better!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home has every amenity and comfort item that you would need. The setting is gorgeous and very secluded. We were surprised that Cooperstown Dreams Park was quite a drive from here - 50 minutes each way. However, if you're looking for a quiet, cozy home away from everyone and everything...this is your place!

Response from Marlene:
It really is not that long of a drive. It is usually only 35 minutes. your GPS probably took you on the long scenic route! Sorry if you had asked me I could have given you better directions.

Just spent a week at the cabin and it was a gem! After getting groceries the first night at Walmart (about 30 mins away) we didn't need anything else all week, the cabin is setup with everything you will need to the last minute detail. After a couple of days driving to Cooperstown (about 45-50 mins away) my nephew keep referring to the cabin as "home" because that's exactly like it felt like. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing getaway. The only minor detail is that the primary (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps GPS directions send you thru a non existing road, once you figure that out you're all set. We visited the area to attend Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame and it was all worth it. Highly recommended!
