About this listing

The apartment is exceptionally quiet, and has easy access to downtown (107/147 buses 8 min to Dejvicka Metro; 20 min downtown) and two Universities - Czech Tech (8 min by bus) and Czech University of Life Sciences (5 min walk). Hiking and biking trails lead out of the city and downtown along the river. The apartment is very comfortable, has beautiful garden views, and an exceptional balcony. Good for solo adventurer, business travelers and can accommodate couples or friends traveling together.

The space

The apartment is a two bedroom apartment, one which is mine and a second which I rent out. I am in Prague for only a limited amount of time during the year, so you may only see me for a week from time to time or not at all. The bedroom which is available has direct access to a balcony, which is also accessed from the main living space.

The apartment is the upstairs floor of a family house, typical for the residential neighborhoods in this area of Prague. I rent the apartment from the landlords who live downstairs. Although there are no pets in the apartment, a cat and dog live downstairs.

Guest access

Guests have access to all of the apartment except my personal bedroom. The kitchen and bathroom are shared when I am staying in the apartment.

Interaction with guests

Even when I am not in Prague I am available by email and text message.

Other things to note

Any additional guests of more than one will cost an additional nightly fee.

I had a good time during my stay in Prague. I rented the apartment long term from late the fall and on into winter. The apartment has lots of light, and is quite quiet. Elizabeth is very nice! There is another room in the apartment that Elizabeth used when visiting during my stay from time to time. The apartment is located in the upstairs of a home, with a Czech family living downstairs. At times they did enter the apartment while I was gone and once with a key while I was in the apartment. It was very alarming, as I was not renting from them. They have a dog and a cat named "mittens" because of his white feet who absolutely loves to hang out and drink milk. Very friendly animals, but good to know about them if you are allergic. Suchdol is a very quiet area except for around the university. I recommend checking out pizzeria sklipek for a welcoming restaurant with great pizza and beer! Dejvicka, which is just down the road, is a pleasant city area without the tourist crowds like Prague 1. Overall the apartment is nice and I would recommend it to travellers.

Elizabeth's house was a great place to stay, not only was it beautiful and clean but great value for money as well! It was very easy to get into Prague life whilst staying there, and included all necessary ammenities. As a host, Elizabeth was very helpful and nice! I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in a place that doesn't have hoards of tourists, yet still wants easy transport to the city centre.
