Thank you for your comments, of which are totally unjustifiable, you expressed that you were going to do this and give us a bad review, as you never stopped complaining from the minute that you arrived. Probably due to the rain when you arrived. you were miserable, throughout your whole stay.
Here are the answers to your points.
1. Before booking you had every opportunity to read the description of both content location, photographs, and it clearly states exactly what is provided in the kitchen. It is in affect a health and safety galley kitchen, with a microwave/ combined oven, and infra red grill. with instructions in cupboard. Various pots/ utensils suitable for usage for up to 5 people.
The fridge you stated was not working was because somebody had unplugged it, we switched the fridge back on post you leaving and it worked perfect, pre and post your visit. It was still under guarantee as brand new, I explained this to you, so much for you complaint. So you or your party, it would appear may possibly well have removed the plug from its socket, possibly to charge something and failed to put it back. Rule: first check the equipment is switched on.
We do state that there is free Wi Fi and a 50 inch television in the Lodge and a 24 hour access code are given to all cabin occupiers, and all rooms at Clunebeg. You were told you were very welcome to use the TV lounge, and restaurant and bar, up to a reasonable time approx 10:30pm, so as not to disturb others sleeping.
We have never stated that there is a totally separate living room, nowhere in our description does it say so.
The fold out settees have been removed due to complaints that they were not adequate for two adults to sleep on as they only opened up to 3/4 double bed. We now have bunk beds which have proved very popular.
There are also, to replace the seating, a stack of four aluminium chairs, a table and outside two wooden bench chairs that can be brought in and a BBQ. Furthermore there is Wi Fi that is not unlimited in the cabins. But if this is used extensively, and by children and adults screening films etc, this WiFi is soon used up. The unlimited free Wifi where you can stream films and bring back to the cabin is in the lodge. So as we state this free unlimited Wi fi is in Clunebeg lodge. WE do not state that a TV is in the cabin as it is impossible to obtain a signal in many parts of the Highlands. Unfortunately the forestry at the back precludes the cabins having workable TVs. This is why we specifically state there is a 56 inch TV in the Clunbeg Guest Lounge, which you are given access to.
The member of staff specifically pointed out that the free wi fi and TV were in the guest lounge in the lodge. As they do when everyone checks in. So you had already had your answer.
No building materials were precluding access to your cabin. The cabin works to the back of your cabin, which you did not overlook and which was almost complete, so no building materials were affecting you in any way, and these were petitioned off as was the track as you walked to the cabins. This is Scotland, the Highlands, in the wintertime are impossible to work outdoors, all work during the day stops at 4pm, at check in time.
You stated that it was expensive and as
I explained to you, these cabins represent for 5 people for a stay of one night a very reasonable stay. They work out cheaper than many back packers or hostels with shared facilities, dorms, bathrooms etc. in this area.
And if you are dissatisfied you do not wait until the next morning after using the premises, to make complaints to the owner as you are leaving, and threaten me with a bad review, as you thought that the costs were unreasonable.
Please note, that we very very rarely get a guest and their party, but we do on occasion, who go out of their way, by informing us that they will give a bad review, if we do not refund the whole or part of their money, after they have had the goods and services, and do nothing but complain and try to extract money back.
I also note on your own Air BNB as a landlady, that there were complaints of springs coming through the mattresses on your beds, and all you did was put a topper on the mattress as your answer. Classic!!!!
