Great location

A small, cabin invites you to unplug and enjoy nature at her finest. Climb the ladder to the loft, full mattress on the floor, or take an afternoon nap on the cot down below. A writer's desk awaits your creativity and paintings to inspire the artist in you. A quaint outhouse is nearby and an outdoor shower, weather permitting, is heavenly. Some folk call this "glamping;" I call it heaven, a place that soothes the soul on your journey.

The space
Bedding provided. During cooler months an oil filled radiator heats the cabin as well as a wood stove . Bring a bundle of firewood for the fire pit or gather from the woods. I'm here most of the time and when I am, on your first morning, a small breakfast with a thermos of hot water for you to make coffee or tea(provided in cabin)is delivered to the breakfast stump! No cooking in the cabin but there is a small grill outside-you can bring charcoal if you want to cook: mugs, cups, plates, utensils and a couple of pans are here. And, in "mud-season-April," bring your rubber boots! It's Vermont, eh?

Guest access
Outdoor shower (indoor available in cooler months) fire pit, parking on premise.

Other things to note
This place is magical; not for those who need the comforts and convenience of being plugged in but for those who are nurtured in nature. Leave your "speaker" at home and enjoy the babbling brook, the owls in the night and the music of nature.

I am an artist - clay, metal and canvas, who likes to discover new places and interesting people. I've lived in Canada, France and now in beautiful Vermont. My shadow is a black golden retriever-mix dog who joins me in swimming, kayaking (she takes up the whole cockpit) and all season walking/skiing/snowshoeing in the woods; I'm still trying to get her to dance with me! We live in a magical, quiet, secluded hilltop cabin surrounded by Vermont nature at her best. My bumper sticker reads "I Tried To Contain Myself But I Escaped."
