Yurta is a typical dwelling of nomadic populations in Mongolia.
We got it straight from there, it has unique features! It is round, all in wood and fabric, with a high thermal resistance, so fresh in summer and warm in winter. In Mongolia they use it in the snow, in the middle of the wind, it is very safe, has recently struck an air trumpet. It's clean, we also use it to do Meditation and Gongs. It is equipped with mosquito nets, salt lamps, electric current

The space

Yurta is a rare opportunity to live in direct contact with Mother Nature, sleep under the starry sky, watch the Moon from the transparent ceiling. The discomfort for the bathroom in the house (you have to cross the 5,000 square foot park to enter the house, 50 meters away from yurt) is greatly rewarded by the beauty of the countryside. For a romantic weekend, an anniversary, a birthday surprise ... or just to regenerate after a day of work!

Guest access

In addition to the Yurta, you will have access to the 8x4 mt bath with whirlpool, hammocks and all the garden furniture during the spring season until late fall, or to the ground floor rooms where the stables are completely restored or on the second floor Where there is a 90 sqm room with wooden floor where you can read, relax, yoga, meditation, where, just like yurta, you can only access barefoot

Interaction with guests

I am available during your stay, I live in the central structure with my partner; Considering that my work is a holistic operator, I might have some busy hours.
If you want to stop eating with us, just tell me the day before, we're vegetarians

Other things to note

We do not have the television for a free choice, we do not have wi-fi to avoid excess electromagnetic waves, we lead a life in joy, enthusiastically, but in a healthy way, to the best that we can ...

The yurt was just as advertised, has everything you need. 10 minute drive from Modenas center. Paola was very accommodating to my late check in

We enjoyed our stay in the yourte with our kids. Paola was a very nice host. We would recommend some equipments for the beds (bed sheets and blankets) to make the stay even better! We would recommend the experience.

This is a straightforward and fairly basic place to stay. The hosts are lively, as is their cat and they (the hosts) go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's not too far from the Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini factories.

Paola and Ferruccio were very kind hosts, being sure we had everything with our 2 young kids in the Yurta. It is a very relaxing and quiet place, with a walkabke access to a beautiful bathroom and toilets, but only 12 minutes driving to beautiful Modena old town. And 2 cute kittens!

I have traveled the entire summer in France and Italy. Near the end of my journey I found this place. It is a very nice Mongolian tent. But there ends already the positive part of my review. With Paola I met the most weird host of my whole travel. I had announced my arrival with 2 personal messages the day before and Paola had confirmed it  for 3 pm. I arrived in time but she was surprised that I am already there. The yurt was not yet prepared and a bed was not yet available.  In the evening her companion asked me when I will get up the next morning (I had paied for 2 nights) because both had to leave the house from morning until the evening. They won't give me a key that I could go to the bathroom during the day or prepare me a small lunch! Paola claimed that the use of the kitchen wouldn't be part of the contract. She checked her account and saw the contrary. Her answer: "I thought airbnb I wanted to know if the house has a kitchen!" ??? I had to discuss with her that she would give me at least plates and cutlery to prepare my breakfast because she didn't want that I prepare it in the kitchen . So I decided to leave next morning and asked her to refund 50% of my airbnb cost. But she handled it in an Italian way ;-) and gave me 43%.  In the morning Paola asked me how my sleep was. I told her well after I got used to the highway noise. "What noise do you mean?" she answered!!!  The yurt  is situated in the country,  300 my from the most traffic highway of Italy (Bologna - Milano). So if you don't have problems to sleep with this permanent noise and it doesn't disturb you that you have to cross the garden to get to the toilet (50m - in the night you have to ring the bell) it is the right place to stay.

Response from Paola:
