The space
The cottage has an enclosed cottage garden/yard with undercover seating.

Accessed by a slope and a threshold step through the front door.

Walk into the main living area which contains a well equipped kitchen (full size oven, double Induction hob, air fryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer box.
Multi fuel log burning stove, Infrared heating panels, smart TV (bring your passwords to log in), sofa, Dining table and two chairs.

The shower room is off this room.

Shower room contains a large luxury shower, toilet and sink. Mirror has a demist facility is switched on before creating steam. Do not leave it on when not in use as it is rechargeable and you run the risk of it running out of charge if its left on excessively.

The stairs have one right turn. Upstairs to the bedroom which is restricted height eaves. The mid height is good.

There is a toilet and sink room at the top of the stairs.

King size bed is hand made from reclaimed wood and a church pew.

The mattress is a John Lewis British natural collection swaledale pillowtop. The sheets are 400 thread count 100% cotton sateen.

Two kinds of pillows are supplied. Classic 'just like feather & down' pillow &luxury Just like Down Pillows (comforel).

Green towels are 700 gsm bamboo, white towels are 500 gsm cotton. Duvet is Certified luxury goose feather & down 10.5 - 13.5 tog

Small smart TV (again you need to bring your passwords to log in).
Infrared heating panels.
Chest with 3 drawers. Dressing table and hairdryer.

Window seat with roman blind and roof light windows with blackout blinds.

In the grounds is a dog wash for use of those guests staying in Driftwood who have dogs.

A private enclosed cottage garden with undercover seating area.

If the sun is no longer on the enclosed yard please feel free to use the owners garden & the summer house. Bear in mind if you have a dog that outside of your cottage gate the grounds are not secure.

Property is on two levels with stairs. The bedroom has height restrictions as it’s in the eaves.

Other things to note
We have a dog wash in the grounds for your use to keep the dog & cottage clean.

The village has all amenities in walking distance and is very dog friendly. Most places you can take the dog while you eat.

On a bus route if you want a break from driving. Lots to explore from this location, go to RSPB Bempton to see the Puffins & Gannets. 10 minute drive away or a great coastal hike. Puffins can also be seen at North landing.

Take a boat trip on the Yorkshire Belle to see the birds from a new angle.

Flamborough head has a big seal colony and dolphins are often seen in the bays around the headland

A coop, butchers, bakers, pharmacy and 2 fab chip shops in the village.
Residential area, quiet but fairly busy road that goes up to the lighthouses.

Moved to the coast in 2020, renovating an old cottage, part of which is now x2 holiday cottages finishedend of May 2025. Bramleymanorcottages also seen on BBC Villages by the sea. Love coastal walks, sea swimming, bird & general wildlife spotting and a big passion for music concert and festivals
