This is a bungalow-slyle house set in the rural district of Briech, 40 km south west of Tangier and 8 km from the Spanish influenced village of Azilah, well known for its Art Festivals during the summer.

The space
Our cottage is situated in the quiet village of Briech, 8km north of Azilah. We renovated this building in 1995 when we were still living in Morocco, putting all our passion, interest in Moroccan art and our international experience and artifacts into creating what we think is a very special place.
We would like to share our home with nature lovers, those looking for a bit of adventure and getting away from the challanges of modern day life!

Where you’ll be

Briyech, Tanger-Tétouan, Morocco

Briech is still very rural and the house is surrounded by cultivated fields and grazing animals.
The house is 5 minutes walk to the beach. One can walk for kilometres along this sandy and attractive beach - towards Tangier or Azilah.
A new Art Gallery is at the bottom of the road and displays contemporary Moroccan Art.
Azilah is where you would shop. It is one big market where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are available every day . Small shops sell all the basics and at the harbour one can meet the fishing boats on their arrival to buy their amazing assorted catch.

Guests would be met and shown around on arrival. A car would be advisable to travel to Azilah and/or Tangier. The train leaves Azilah from Tangier several times a day. There is also a bus service to Tangier and Azilah. But these 2 services are not yet well enough established to predict regularity.
