YALDA apartment is a minimal apartment hotel renovated from a traditional machiya. Just a 1-minute walk to the 21st Century Museum, 2 minutes to Kenrokuen Garden, and within walking distance of the D.T. Suzuki Museum. Located next to Ishiura Shrine in a quiet, green area, with a bus stop nearby. The apartment includes a kitchen, dining area, two bathrooms, a washer-dryer, and three bedrooms, accommodating up to 7 guests. We use plant-based organic products for all linens and cleaning.

In Japan, the number of vacant houses is increasing and many buildings are being demolished.Buildings that could be used with a little care are sometimes left to fall into disrepair.I was inspired to take action when I realised that I could do something about the situation. "YALDA" is a project that makes use of an old private house.We are committed to environmentally friendly management, such as inheriting vacant houses and using natural products for cleaning and linen washing. Next year, we plan to open the YALDA hotel, a renovated 120-year-old former teahouse.This activity is supported by local people and guests who visit.I hope that I can continue in a gentle and unhurried manner, while facing places and things with a background.
