About this listing
My place is located in Silverlake, walking distance to the Silverlake Resevoir and to many really great food and drinking options, LAMill, L and E, Milk, Yakuza Sushi, The Ramen House, Cowboys and Turbans, I can go on and on. You will not go hungry while visiting.
My Partner and I have been AirBnb hosts for 3 years. Our original and very active listing is The Lago. We named our new listing Mas Lago, which simply means More Lago in Spanish.
Perfect for Grandparents. Hipsters. Tourists.
The studio is a mini functional apartment studio. Two guests can fit comfortably. We do not have an extra mattress/cot/roll out bed to accommodate two separate sleeping arrangements. We are in the middle of a very lively part of town, yet tucked away for a quiet stay.
The studio has a private patio and private lot with parking available.
Interaction with guests
I work from home if I'm not out with a client. I am available for any questions, food options or what to do in L.A.
Other things to note
Please note the Property is not a Stand alone studio. The property is a Tri-Plex. Main house upstairs where I/we live. Downstairs are two separate units with their own private patios.
- There is no smoking on the Mas Lago grounds. In the unit or outside in the Patio. I live and work upstairs, the smoke makes its way right up to our place. Please do not flush anything down the toilet except toilet paper. The pipes at Mas Lago date back to 1923 and clog very easily. California is in a drought. Please keep your showers short to prevent waste and running out of hot water. (26 Gallon water heater)
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
Native Angelino, like many folks in L.A. I don't just do one thing. I run an insurance practice for the past several years. Maintaining my book of business allows me to work on my Photography, which has given me opportunities to travel to many cool places in the states and oversees. I enjoy meeting folks and showing off my city.
