Our house is located in the bay called Zupa Dubrovacka. It is the perfect location between the airport, 10km away and the Old City of Dubrovnik, also 10km away. Mlini means mills in Croatian and the name derives from the former mills in the small town. Mlini features an idyllic promenade walk along the beach which connects Mlini with the adjacent Srebreno. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants along the way and several childrens' playgrounds under cypress and pine trees which donate welcome shadown on hot summer days. Nearby there are bakeries and grocery stores as well as a shopping centre in Srebreno. Mlini is the perfect place to spend a relaxed holiday in the vicinity of the beautiful city of Dubrovnik but it also offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle of it in the high season.

We can provide 2 parking spots and 1 parking spot for a SMART - sized car. Please enquire before your arrival about the availability. The bus stops with connections to Dubrovnik and Cavtat in the opposite direction are only about 200m away down the road.
You will find the bus timetables in the apartment, busses to Dubrovnik have a frequency of at least every half hour in the summer season.

We had a great time in apartment soleil. The apartment is modern and spacious and was a good size for the five of us. The views are great and the amenities of the house, including a balcony, an outdoor grill and a table, were just what we needed for a summer holiday. There were quite a few teething problems, perhaps because our rental was early in the season, e.g. air conditioning didn't work initially and the sun umbrella was broken, but our hosts fixed these quickly once we pointed them out. The apartment is located on the outskirts of Mlini/Srebreno, two lovely villages near Dubrovnik which have merged into one another. However, although the nearest beach was only about 10 minutes walk away (down a steep hill), to get there on foot involves walking along a short stretch of a very busy road where there is no pavement. This meant it wasn't ideal if you have young children or if you wanted to walk at night. Also, the food shop is about 30 mins walk at the other end of the village meaning the apartment might be better suited to someone with a car.

Making this choice(I mean villa de Soleil)you can be sure in two things: First-you'll find yourself in one of the most beautiful place in Europe and the second- you'll be cared by very kind, hospitable and attentive hosts. Taking breath view, spacious and clean apartment with cosy balcony, not to mention ripe grapes right opposite the front door, patio with grill and also absolutely stunning donuts from Antonia's mom...)) We were offered pick up service and even a bottle of great Croatian vine upon arrival!) In case you're a bit out of shape (like we are), renting a car might be better solution, because the way back from the beach is up the hill along the road and the supermarket is about 20-25 minutes away. Dubrovnik is 10-15 min away by bus,so King's landing is at your pleasure. Enjoy!)

Dear Danica and Antonia. Thank you very much for the visit at your lovely apartment and enjoying your hospitality and beautiful surroundings. You get our full recommendation and hope to see you again. There was a good, helpful and prompt communication before, during and after our stay. Danica speaks German and Antonia and her brother speaks German and English. We can only give our warmest recommendations to Antonia, Danica and family. They are very hospatiable and sweet people. My husband, I and our two children aged 11 and 14, enjoyed our stay at Vila Soleil for 11-12 days, where we were spoiled with wine, watermelon, cake, potatoes etc. and was offered a ride to the supermarket. We got cleaned towels, beach towels, cloths and bed linen several times. Also, we were picked up and brought to the airport (Which lies only about 20-25 minutes drive away). The apartment is super nice, with washing machine, nice bath, dishwasher, air conditioning and all that is needed for of equipment. The balcony has a spatacular view of the Mlini / Srebreno bay and the sea, where we enjoyed most evenings. Also there was a possibility to grill on a shared terrace. The central highway from Cavtat and the airports - through Plat, Mlini, Srebrenot to Dubrovnik runs down the front of the apartment, which of course can be heard (but do not bother us very much). The surroundings are amazing. The apartment is located on the hillside, with a beautiful view of the sea. It is a 15-minute walk from the down town mlini and it takes approx. 10-20 minutes to walk down the stairs to the local beach near Hotel Astarea. It's a perfect place without too many tourists and still close to almost everythings. Is so peaceful and at the same time oozes of atmosphere. Mlini has a splendid location, a nice little harbor / seaside resort where the old beautiful watermill is preserved and an older church calls the sun up and down. Idyllic beautiful old (inhabited and abandoned) village houses, cafes and small restaurants (konoba in Croatian) are like beads on a string along the cobbled beautiful promenade. The beach is a pebble beach, with sandy places in the water and with the possibility of renting sun loungers. The water is crystal clear and lovely to swim in, also perfect for children as it does not get too fast deep. We enjoyed our trip to Dubrovnik. However, there are many tourists, which one has to prepare for. We went for a walk in the Old Town, looked at different sights, culture and went for a walk on the spectacular 2-3 kilometer long wall around Dubrovnik Old Town. From here you can also enjoy a boat trip back to Mlini, where you can see how beautiful Dubrovnik looks from the sea. We took a trip to 3 islands - Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud - from Mlini harbor, which is recommended. We ate fish aboard and had a longer stay on...
