My place is close to Fiordland and Lake Hauroko, good trout fishing, Te Araroa national pathway, Riverton and the scenic southern coast. Our home is relaxed and pleasant, good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
Mark and I live in a small rural community and, having travelled quite a lot ourselves, we enjoy sharing our home with visitors from other parts of the world. We have two small foxy dogs which have the run of the house. We are very proud of this part of NZ living as we do in view of the Takitimu Mountains and not far from the main road between Queenstown and Milford Sound. We are 40 minutes from Lake Hauroko which is part of Fiordland. A day trip from our place could take in Gemstone Beach, Monkey Island, Cosy Nook, Colac Bay and Riverton. We extend a particularly warm welcome to women travellers.
For cyclists or runners or recreational walkers we are not far from the historic and very scenic Mt Linton sheep station which hosts the Mt Linton muster on Saturday, March 25, 2017
