This place is the best! Myself and seven friends stayed here and it was amazing. We ended up rarely ever leaving the cabin, its fun, functional, and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your friends/family. If I could I would give an extra star for the deck- I originally had a bed inside but ended up sleeping outside every night. The porch is largely screened in and each level is really comfortable! I can't say enough about how great this place is and how great of hosts Ann & Chris were. Just stop looking at other cabins/places in the area and choose this one.

This large, comfortable, and luxurious home was the perfect location for a weekend getaway with a small group of friends. Surrounded by peace and quiet in the hills of West Virginia, it's ideal for an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Ann & Chris were great hosts! I'd happily stay here again.

My family and stayed here on the first leg of a road trip. We are used to busy schedules, activities, sports, etc. So we were definitely looking to disconnect from the hustle of our normal life. This was perfect!! The house is perfectly set in the woods and provides a gorgeous view! The home was very spacious, very clean, and provided all the essentials needed for us. The screened in porch was our favorite....lots of eating outside, enjoying the nature sounds and beauty! Locally there is not a whole (URL HIDDEN) plan your food, beverages, and essentials prior. We did visit a local brewery, shopped at the General Local store, hiked in the local park, and swam at the state's only natural lake (gorgeous and clean!). What a fabulous experience!! Wish we stayed a few more days!!

The house was so nice! Definitely very secluded so it's a good option if you are looking to stay in for most of your trip.

This house is awesome! The decks are amazing, the kitchen is great to cook in and the bathrooms are very nicely update. I love how secluded it was, but close enough to civilization where you don't have to worry about forgetting to bring something to the house. We all had a relaxing time! Data really doesn't work out there for most carriers as a heads up (Verizon and AT&T weren't working for us). WiFi is excellent though.

A small group of old college friends and I stayed for an extended weekend. It was everything we wanted, plus more! The house was absoulelty breath taking-and it was close enough to check out some hiking trails and a brewery. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend, thank you Chris and Ann!

First, the owners are exceptionally welcoming and responsive. (I have not had the same great experience with all airbnb hosts that I have contacted, so their hospitality especially stood out to me.) The house is awesome - we loved how modern, spacious and beautiful it was while also having that wood cabin construction and feel that you want in nature. If you like to cook - especially for a getaway, you will love the kitchen, which is large with a great stove and huge island that also allows several people to sit while others may be cooking. The wraparound decks, including some that are screened in, mean that you'll have many places onsite for guests to congregate on the property, but also separate. The nice, fire-ready fire pit will allow you to have a hassle-free "campfire"; I love that we could roast marshmallows in a matter of moments after just turning the pit on. (There's also a fireplace in the house that looks like it would be great for a winter retreat too, although we went in the summer.) Ample bathrooms as well, and the main floor bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous. Great amenities for television viewing too; although the purpose of our trip was to unplug, on Sunday we wanted to watch a message on youtube and they had Roku in the living room for us to be able to do so. (There were also other tv entertainment subscriptions.) Additionally, the house is not too far from Lost River State Park - about a half hour. In short, I highly recommend this place - for the people and the location! Seyi
