We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Elisa’s place. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing get away and that is exactly what we found. Our hosts Elisa & Ed were very hospitable and eager to make sure we were comfortable. This is a rustic house/cabin and very clean. Close enough to tow…

Elisa and her husband were great. The place is in a good location. It has hard wood floors (the actual real kind) and we found they made a lot of noise at night. We are just not used to that. No fault of Elisa. Also there is no a/c in the unit. It says it doesn't right in the des…

Response from Elisa:
Paula, thanks for selecting Rancho Los Rosales and your review. But in the interest of Rancho Los Rosales and all other Flagstaff Airbnbs I have a responsibility to correct your weather report. Here are the correct high and low temperatures at the ranch during your visit. June25: High at noon 86' and Low at midnight 56' / June26 High at 4PM 86' and Low 49' / June 27 High at 2PM 81' and Low at 4AM 41' / June 28 High at 5PM 82' and Low at 4AM 41' / Yes, at 4AM on June 27 and June 28 the temperatures at the ranch were 41'... The temperature you reported was very inaccurate and might mislead future guests. Paula, in Florida you do not experience the wide varieties of temperatures within a 24hour period example 80s for a couple of hours as highs and 40s for a couple of hours as lows. I have a responsibility to report the temperatures you experienced at the ranch. Perhaps on your hikes to the lower altitudes you did experience temperatures in the 90s, but not at Rancho Los Rosales. Remember, Flagstaff is at 7000 ft altitude and even in June the temperatures at night drop dramatically. Elisa

This is the second time we stayed at Elisa's place. We were so honored to learn from Elisa and Ed about the history of this ranch house and its past relations with Peace Corps. Will come again for sure. -Yi

Elisa was a great host. She was close at hand if we needed her, but left us to our privacy. This was a very rustic place to stay with tons of character. We only stayed one night, but the beds were super comfortable after a long drive. Only thing I would say I wish they h…

We had a short but comfortable stay. Lisa's hospitality and background is like no other. It was cost for our family of 5.

This is a very comfortable, rustic ranch house located in a rural location northeast of Flagstaff but only 10-15 minutes from Flagstaff. The hosts are both very engaging and personable and respectful of our privacy. They invited us up for coffee the morning of our departure. We…

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the ranch! We loved the rustic feel and the simple touches. There was enough room for the kids to play and the open space for the dogs to run. The kids had a wonderful time in the hammock and exploring the area, and we enjoyed the scen…
