Charming beyond words cottage in the countryside just a quick 1 hour train and a short taxi ride to travel back in time. Bedroom was quaint with very comfortable bed and high end towels and a comfortable place to use the WiFi to plan your next adventures.. Tea/sitting room downstairs was welcoming with tea, coffee and homemade treats Table in garden a great place for a picnic dinner. Be sure to take a stroll down the winding country road for idyllic scenery and beautiful architecture on a circular walk passing through the large and beautifully maintained Eythrope estate owned by the Rothschilds. Picture perfect pond with white swans paddling provides one of many photographic opportunities. Check in/out was a breeze and Gill attended to our every need and was helpful with all our questions.

What a fantastic place, the cottage is beautiful and everything we needed was available. Gill was very friendly and helpful. Having the snug to relax in with a cuppa after a long day was fantastic. Would happily recommend and would certainly stay here again.

Badger's cottage is set in a beautiful quiet spot at the end of a country road.My husband and i stayed for a friends' wedding and our stay at Badgers cottage was just perfect ! I hope to stay again when next i visit my friend and am happy to recommend it to other Irish friends travelling to visit our mutual friend that lives nearby in Princes Risborough .

Very pleased indeed with the quality of the accommodation, and its peaceful setting, with the River Thame at the end of the road. The 'kitchenette' in the lounge (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle) was particularly useful. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay in your beautiful thatched cottage. Spotless and comfortable in every respect. Lovely welcome and complimentary cake a nice touch. Good wifi, comfy bed and excellent proximity to cycletracks through the Waddesdon Estate. A perfect weekend.

A lovely house in lovely quiet location. Host was very pleasant, facilities good, shower and sheets spot on in particular. Nice to have a private sitting room with fridge, kettle etc. Only slight drawback was the WiFi not working.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Badgers Cottage which was unique and beautiful. Our host Gill met us on arrival and we felt at ease as she showed us around her home. The rooms were tastefully furnished, bed so comfortable and we had the use of a sitting room and the flower filled garden. Gill provided some basic food items and delicious lemon cake. The information Gill gave us on the local amenities and travel information was particularly useful in planning our journeys. We made use on two occasions of the recommended Bottle and Glass pub and restaurant where the food was excellent. The village of Stone has a Co-Op if supplies are needed and an Indian Restaurant.
