Private Bachelor apartment sized house directly on Lake Erie. Queen bed, bathroom with shower, kitchenette. Great swimming in shallow, sandy waters. Close to many area wineries. Walking distance to Pelee Island ferry (half a kilometer). Want something completely different? This is the place. It's almost like staying on a boat.

The space

Small lake house built on edge of Lake Erie shore line. The water is 1 or 2 feet deep at the sea wall and there is a ladder to get in the lake. As travelers our selves, We take pride in bringing our guests all the amenities and cleanliness standards that we like to see when we travel.

Guest access

Swimming, parking, mini fridge, hot plate, microwave, cutlery and dish wares, mugs, cups, coffee and hot chocolate mixes. Towels, bed sheets, hair dryer, iron & board.
Cable TV, DVD player available and DVDs available to loan for free, Chromecast media streaming device from your smart phone.
Deck on west (right) side of lake house available for lounging on Muskoka chairs and enjoying the view.
Fire pit also at your disposal - wood available from us or locally

Interaction with guests

Available as needed, happy to answer questions and offer suggestions on local restaurants, stores, things to do, and things to see.

Other things to note

Given that the lake house is right on the bottom of a hill off the water, there are approx. 20 steps or a meandering, sloping path which lead to the lake house. It should not be considered accessible for those with physical limitations, for reasons around safety.

I have always wanted to stay right on the water and Steve and Natasha's lake house allowed us to do just that. lt is a cozy getaway destination and we really enjoyed our time there. We made it to Point Pelee National Park and also biked along the Chrysler trail. Would definitely return and recommend this property to everyone going to Lake Erie!!

The lake house outlived our initial expectations entirely. Being able to fall asleep and wake up hearing the waves crashing was really beautiful. The space itself was cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. Steve and Natasha were great hosts, and were easily available. We will definitely return.

This was a very spontaneous getaway trip, and we were very fortunate that it was available. A stay on the water was exactly what we needed for a little fall holiday. It was amazing! It is such a cute little cottage. We survived hurricane Nate as it blew threw over Lake Erie. Listening to the noise of the angry waves hitting the stone wall was a pleasant change for us. The cottage remained strong and secure. Such an excellent location. Kingsville is a lovely community. and the surrounding area has many attractions. We were immediately charmed. We will definitely return!

Cute little spot right on the lake that was an enjoyable place to stay. It was our first time in town and enjoyed the stay, scenery and the recommendation to Jacks gastropub that had incredible food
