Three acres of wild scrub and woodland to enjoy camping in. You may well get to see the many deer, rabbits and birds of prey, who live in and around the site. I’m managing the site to increase biodiversity and give people an opportunity to spend time relaxing and recharging in nature. There are great trees for hammocks and shade

Fire’s are allowed, but only in the provided fire pit. Suitable for tents and small campervans, not motorhomes.

Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn is about a miles walk away, through Hever village. Also in the village is the excellent King Henry Eighth pub.

Two miles walk, cycle or drive away is Falconhurst Farm Shop, which has a great selection of local produce, as well as hosting lots of food based events on Summer weekends.

Access is by a mown grass/unmade track, with a couple of deeper wheel ruts to be avoided, we suggest you walk it first to check it’s suitable for your vehicle. In wet weather and outside the summer, you can use the paid parking in the station car park, currently in 2025 it’s £3.50 per 24 hours. Please note I don’t have any ability to pull out stuck vehicles, so please don’t risk it.

Getting here

Hever is less than an hour’s drive from much of London, and the site is right next door to Hever station.

On still evenings you can hear the announcements and trains from the station next door. There’s about one train each way an hour.

The track and camping area were cleared this Spring, and I’m mowing them regularly. However they are not fully grassed in all areas yet.

Self check in with code lock on the gate.

The site is ‘Leave no trace’, you need to take all rubbish home with you, and check the site thoroughly when you’re packed up. We do a full inspection before and after each visit.

This is a place to be quiet, and we want to be a good neighbour to the people and the wildlife, therefore no amplified music, blue tooth speakers etc are allowed.

The booking fee includes upto 4 guests, and means you have exclusive access to the whole site.

This is wild camping, no water is available on site, you need to bring your own. There is a simple compost toilet. Please bring your own loo roll.
