Polsue Cottage oozes character with the sights and sounds of the sea on the doorstep. This 'upside down' home has wonderful estuary views and is only a few paces away from the water at Point Quay, perfect for swimming, paddleboarding or just relaxing and taking in the view. It has a wonderful garden with a tropical Cornish feel for unwinding after adventures.
3 lovely pubs nearby, local shop 5 min drive, Truro & Falmouth 15 mins drive. Ideally located to explore beaches on north & south coasts.
The space
★★★★★ The cottage was a perfect base for our family of 5 and dog. The location was beautiful with some lovely walks directly from the cottage. A comfortable and cosy stay. Would highly recommend.
Polsue Cottage is in a designated World Heritage Site, located just steps from the water in the peaceful village of Point, with stunning views.
From your front door, you'll be just 30 seconds from the water where you can launch paddleboards, go swimming, or try your hand at crabbing. The cottage is in a sheltered haven, perfect for watery activities when the tide is in. It's also the start of some fabulous scenic walks and cycles in our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the coast-to-coast Bissoe Cycling Trail.

★★★★★ Beautiful cottage near Point Quay. Peaceful and tranquil. Cottage is very comfortable and well maintained. Great for walking, swimming, paddle boarding!
With reverse level living, you'll enter on the first floor into the cosy living and dining room with spectacular views across the water. The front room creates the perfect atmosphere for cosy evenings, and there's comfortable seating for the whole family to relax and enjoy those stunning water views. The kitchen has great views too with all the essentials for a comfortable stay.
There's also a WC upstairs.
Downstairs you'll find three comfortable bedrooms: the main bedroom with a king size bed, a twin bedroom perfect for children or friends, and a cosy single bedroom.
There's a family bathroom with bath and shower overhead.
Step outside to your private enclosed lawn and patio area - perfect for alfresco dining while watching the water. There's a Weber charcoal BBQ and plenty of space to relax outdoors and soak up the peaceful estuary-side atmosphere.
Due to the traditional stone construction, the cottage stays lovely and cool in summer and cosy warm in winter.
The cottage is perfectly positioned next door to our sister properties Estuary Cottage (which sleeps 4), and Anthony Cottage (sleeps 8) in this historic terrace of traditional Cornish cottages built in the 1800s.
There is off-road parking for 2 cars in the private gated driveway directly outside the cottage.
