Within a 4plex, we are close to Echo Park Lake, Hollywood, USC, Downtown Theatre District, Disney Concert Hall, Dodger Stadium and Staples Center. You’ll love my place because of Its a quiet historic hilltop neighborhood just west of Downtown Los Angeles. It is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Nearly 300 sq feet, mini kitchen, walk in closet, queen size memory foam bed, wifi, Directv DVR, 48" HD smart TV, Netflix, use of laundry room, parking. Can add air mattress.
Its kind of like studio apartment meets hotel suite with a large room that has a desk, charging station, sitting area, 48 inch HDTV with Directv with a giant package of movie and sports channels as well as a DVR you can use either to watch one of the pre loaded movies or record your own shows. TV package also has XM satellite radio, Netflix and a sound bar. We have wireless internet access, walk in closet, mini kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, pantry space, blender, coffee/ espresso maker and access to a shared laundry room.
One of my guests even said its like having a Coffee Bean or Starbucks in the room, with a CBTL coffee maker making a variety of different coffees and espressos along with flavored creamers and syrups. We put things in the room, we would want when traveling including snacks, candy and drinks, extra linens, towels and blankets. Room has AC/ Heat, ceiling fan and air cleaner.
There is an outdoor deck for smoking or to have a drink and look upon the downtown skyline immediately outside the room.
You have your own entrance in the back. Also right outside your room is a deck if you want to sit out and have a cup of coffee or have a smoke since the inside space is no smoking. Also a front yard with some chairs if you would like to have your smoke out there. Both areas have a view of the downtown skyline. For guests who will be arriving late, we have 24 hour check in with a lock box I will put in a key and give you the code. The lock box is on the railing for the deck just steps from the back door.
Interaction with guests
since I have self check in you will not be dependent upon my schedule for check in or out. I will be your neighbor, so if something comes up or you have a question, let me know and Id be happy to help. If your stay has you here for an extended time, make arrangements for me to come in and change your sheets, bring in more towels, water, snacks, coffee or tea.
Other things to note
We have a few parking options. One parking spot in back, permission to use the church parking lot next door midweek or street parking which often is pretty easy and safe unless one of the area churches is having a special event. If youre parking on the street, careful Monday and Tuesday morning for street sweeping (read the signs, to make sure you dont get ticketed those mornings if you are on the street) or simply use the church lot to get you off the street (Ask me which one and for the lock code)
Please communicate through AirBnB chat. Knowing what time everyone is planning to check in and out is helpful in letting me know if I can offer you or the guests ahead or behind you an early check in or late check out. Also let me know when you arrive and when you depart. Both check in and check out are self check to make things as easy as possible for you.
Im pretty hands off kind of guy, make certain that you have what you need. I work from home so am pretty available if questions or issues come up. I have provided what I would hope to find in a place Ive rented, to make for an especially easy and memorable stay.
