My place is located in “downtown” Carlisle. From here you can follow Rt. 225 East to Bedford and Lexington or West to Westford & Littleton and is within close proximity to Routes 128, 495 and 3. A short, 40 minute drive northwest of Boston and is close to historic downtown Concord's shops/restaurants. Close to the Hiking/bike trails of Great Brook Farm State Park.

*Only 10 miles and about a 15 min drive to Lowell via the Lowell Connector*

The space

500sf beautifully renovated and furnished studio offers a hidden private entrance, a shower and a kitchenette for light meals.

It's a spacious colorful studio. There is cable TV and high speed WiFi Internet access.

The Queen sized bed is comfortable (not too hard, not too soft)
and the sheets I use are 100% cotton.

Julie's studio was cute, comfy practical and really nicely decorated! We couldn't have had a better location for visiting family in Concord. It's such a great, little surprise waiting behind the old, weathered barn doors! You should give Julie's studio in the barn a try!

Wonderful location in Carlisle. Very quaint and quiet area. Lots of small towns to visit nearby and a quickish drive to the Billerica commuter train station if you need to get into the city. The place felt very private which was what we were looking for.

Lovely little place to stay outside of the city. Public transportation into the city is very limited. Really the only way is to take a car. Very nice and clean!

Julie's response to communication was so fast I thought it was an automatic response! She has done a very nice job of making the studio attractive and comfortable. Having a full-size refrigerator is a bonus and to be able to park a few feet from the entrance is wonderful. There are no windows on either side of the studio, but there is one small one at the very end where the air conditioner is installed and there are narrow side panels at the entrance door. However, Julie has cleverly hung curtains along one wall to give the appearance of windows. The only negative I can think of is that the bathroom floor is several inches down from the main area and, if one is not careful, it is very easy to fall. As others have mentioned, the general store-deli-bakery is just around the corner. The location is convenient, easy to find and we would stay there again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our Airbnb Priscilla! And we took your suggestions and added a night light to the bathroom. Come again!

I stayed here while in the area for business and would recommend this place. The place has a lot of charm and character. It is so comfortable and offers everything needed for a relaxing stay. I needed to work while there and appreciated the good internet and a workspace. The area was beautiful and relaxing - I will look to stay here again!

Julie was gracious in letting us check in hours earlier than posted, that helped very much indeed. But the smell of damp that greeted us on walking into the barn was pretty bad. As I suffer from a weak chest, I very much considered simply finding alternative accommodation, but we'd paid and I was very tired. Nothing greeted us in the way of a welcome basket, my first experience in an Airbnb, no coffee, milk or anything for breakfast. About 2 hours after checking in we were asleep after much travel, and the host very loudly knocked repeatedly on the door. I thought something was seriously wrong, but it was simply to greet us. A beautiful area to stay, but things to work on I fear, especially the damp.

Julie's place is a still growing enterprise. Her attention to detail and obvious care really come through. This was our third visit, but first in the new barn space. The room has been carved out of a barn on the property and has one very small window in the back, but plenty of fans and a window AC keeps the air moving. It's a good sized room with kitchenette and appears to have been recently constructed. The bed was comfortable, I didn't watch the TV but there is one apparently connected to cable. Internet was strong and consistent through a thunderstorm with flooding in nearby towns. It was just what I needed for a night
