Located in the newly renovated Riverside community with easy access to Munger Trail, the Western Waterfront Trail, Spirit Mountain and I-35. It's about a 10 minutes drive to Canal Park/downtown Duluth and is only two miles from West Duluth stores and restaurants.
My house is licensed by the city and is up to code with the fire department with fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors installed.
The upstairs bedroom is large with a queen size bed and a small bathroom with a shower and tub just outside the door. There is an enclosed lounging area in the front porch, a small, fairly private back deck and a full size kitchen with a breakfast nook, cooking supplies including a French press and coffee grinder. You're welcome to use kitchen utensils and cooking supplies. Please clean up after yourself. (If using the coffee grinder please don't use flavored coffee.) The living room has two couches, a coffee table, TV (no cable), and a reading room with a chair and record player. Use of the record player is prohibited but you are welcome to use the entertainment system as long as the volume is kept low. During the warm months you may turn on the ceiling fans. The house stays fairly cool during the summer as long as the windows are closed. The enclosed front porch has seating and tables and is a good spot to enjoy coffee in the morning.
I'm away most every weekend but rent the basement to a roommate (Jorge) who is around more often. He's easy going and keeps to himself. He also has access to the kitchen.
Also, please do not touch my vinyl record collection.
Access to upstairs bedroom, bathroom, main level kitchen, living room, front porch, back deck. The laundry is in the basement and is available only upon request. My renter Jorge has full use of the basement so this space is restricted.
Interaction with guests
I won't typically be around but am easy to reach by phone/text if necessary. If possible I'll be there for check in. My roommate Jorge who rents the basement will often be around but is quiet and keeps to himself. Guests will generally have the kitchen and living room space to themselves.
Other things to note
When coming and going please be mindful that my renter's bedroom is directly below the enclosed front porch. He goes to bed fairly early and gets up early in the morning. Please keep things quiet after 10 PM. Low tv/music volume is acceptable.
Iron and ironing board available upon request. Hair dryer is located on the closet shelf in the bathroom. Off street parking is available for one vehicle.

This is my home so please treat it with care and respect. When using the kitchen or living room please clean up after yourself and put things back where they came from. You are welcome to use the TV though I do not have cable. High speed Internet is available. (See House Manual for wifi/password information)
I rent the basement area to a roommate (Dan) who comes and goes as he pleases. He's clean and quiet and may occasionally use the kitchen. Please observe quiet hours between 10PM and 7AM.
There is a mixed recycle bin in the closet on the porch. Please rinse recyclables and put them in the bin.
Also, I prefer to the house to have a neutral scent and to be odor free so please don't use excessive amounts of cologne or perfume. Thanks!
