The space
Bromwich Park is a working farm situated in the rural county of Shropshire, close to the beautiful Welsh borders near the historic market town of Oswestry, just a 90 minute drive from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham

Surrounded by open fields, we offer luxury self-catering holiday accommodation in the recently converted Granary Cottage which sits at the heart of the farm.

Your friendly hosts, Nicholas and Julian live in the main farmhouse and are on hand to assist you with anything you require.

Accommodation:
The Granary Cottage retains the rustic charm of the original farm building, beautifully restored to create comfortable and well-appointed self-catering accommodation but with all modern comforts.
The cottage is welcoming, cosy and full of rustic charm with tasteful furnishings and decor reflecting its country setting providing relaxed and luxurious home for up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms.

With original oak beams and reclaimed wooden paneling, the ground floor is open plan with a handcrafted redwood, fully equipped kitchen. There is a dining area and cosy living room, complete with a wood burning stove. An eco, wood-pellet underfloor heating system also provides constant hot water.

Upstairs you will find the stunning master bedroom, with exposed beams, a bespoke rustic oak 4 poster king-sized bed, and views across the fields and the beautiful courtyard garden. There is also a comfortable twin bedroom and a main bathroom with bath/shower.

Large stable doors from the kitchen and lounge open out to your private patio.
You can also access a larger, less private, courtyard which is the perfect spot to make the most of the summer sun.
Around the farm there is also an enclosed, sheltered and private area by The Orchard where you can relax and children can play safely and a barbecue area in an adjacent field.
This area also has 3 simple caravans which are available to hire as an additional accommodation for guests in The Granary, but would not have other paying guests in while you are staying.

Although it is close to The Farmhouse and the adjacent Coach House private accommodation , The Granary cottage feels completely private and is not overlooked at all .

We also host weddings at the farm through the summer months, but the wedding booking always includes the cottage, so you will never be booked in in the middle of someone else's party !

The farm buildings and fields would also be suitable for retreats or workshop weekends amongst other things

Guest access
Large stable doors from the kitchen and lounge open out to your private patio.
You can also access a larger, less private, courtyard which is the perfect spot to make the most of the summer sun.
Around the farm there is also an enclosed, sheltered and private area in The Orchard where you can relax and also a barbecue area / fire pit in our adjacent camping field where you can hang out and children can play safely.

Other things to note
We have a working farm around us so there can be some machinery noise in the daytime during the week, but it is very quiet in the evening and at weekends.

As we regularly host weddings on weekends from May to September, any guests checking out on a Friday morning may be asked to check out a little early if possible so we can prepare the Granary for the happy couple.
The wedding hosts can arrive to start decorating the Cow Barn Venue from 9am, so there may be a bit of hussle and bustle around the farm while you are preparing to leave, but we don't want you to feel rushed .

As we are a rural farm it is very quiet here. Our nearest neighbours are a few fields away but we are only a few minutes drive [20 mins walk] from the nearest village, Maesbury, with 2 pubs, and 10 minutes from Oswestry town centre and all the shops you might need.

Nicholas and Julian moved up from London to Shropshire to take over Julian's family farm in 2012. We have transformed the old barns and outbuildings into a rustic wedding venue and a holiday cottage so we can share our little piece of countryside with lots of new people.
