(Our beautiful villa is close to public transport, beach, shops, restaurants. You’ll love it because of the location, the vintage furniture and antique floors, the garden, and the beautiful surroundings as well as the wonderful food at the beach restaurants nearby. The duplex is good for couples and solo adventurers. It is not suitable for small children because of she staircase but a sofa bed downstairs is ideal for children over 10.
El Jardín de Azahar is a unique old villa from the 1930s lovingly refurbished. We've kept the old charm and reused as much materials as possible but added modern air conditioning and heating. Renovation was finished in summer 2016 and a few details may not be perfect yet but the grass in the garden is growing and by October it should make for a perfect tranquil outdoor space.
The duplex is decorated with vintage furniture. It has a large king-size bed upstairs and living room downstairs with a single sofa bed to accommodate one additional person.
Pedregalejo was a poor fishing village for centuries. The beach front still shows some of the old village structure but it has been seriously impaired by modern day renovation techniques. This said, it is possibly one of the very few spots left on the Costa which is not dominated by high rise buildings.
The area became fashionable during the 1920s and 30s when wealthy Malagueños started building their weekend homes close to the city.
Pedregalejo suffered from the real estate boom just as any other place along the coasts. But some of the old charm has been maintained and the area is currently being rediscovered by a younger generation.
The local beach is only 150 metres down the road. Despite not being the most beautiful of its kind it is a popular destination for Malageños. Pedregalejo playa offers a welcome indigenous alternative to the high rise mass tourism along the coast. The old fishing village is lined with plenty of bars, restaurants, chiringuitos (beach restaurants) and cafés.
Pedregalejo also has a legitimate claim to being the world capital of Spanish language schools.
There is not kitchen .
Guests have access to our large garden with a patio. You are welcome to use the barbecue. Please note that we cannot serve breakfast.
Interaction with guests
Wherever possible we will be happy to help and assist our guests with finding restaurants, planning their trips and whatever else they may need.
Other things to note
The Entrance of the guesthouse has got notnumber, but it would be the Nr. 6 ( in front of the number 7-9 from Calle San Mateo)
We are 150 meters from the beach.
Pedregalejo has many language schools and would probably qualify as world capital for Spanish courses.

" Life is to fill the path of small beautiful moments, more than worrying about to reach the end"
The greatest experiences that I have made in my life are due to the fact that I have lived abroad for more than 20 years and have met so many people from different cultures. I love traveling, art, music and dance tango... I speak Spanish, French, English, and German .
If you know the difference between having a coffe in a Starbucks or in the old coffe-shop at the corner, which exists before you were born, then you will enjoy your estay hier.
Respect, kindness, courtesy, awareness are for me important keys in respect of a relationship.
I look forward welcoming you at my place !
